I'm shocked. Even I am concerned about this one and I never pick against my Steelers. May I ask why you think we will win this one?

I'm also picking the Steelers ahead of the Texans. This is where we'll see what the Texans are made of. I actually believe they are for real and they are more than just a "contender" but I'm picking the Steelers 'cause they tend to beat streaky teams when it matters. I'd take the wrong pick over a Steelers loss any day of the week though.. :)

I take the steeler's as well, not sure why JO says it, but their pass pro is not all that great Schaub is streaky, they have a running game that is in doubt unless Arian Foster just bursts back onto the scene.

If Dick lebeau only has to worry about one real threat (andre Johnson) than he can gamepllan around that which will probably mean bracket coverage and lots of pressure and make kevin walter and owen daniels beat you.

As for their D nobody can keep up with wallace, ben is tough to bring down which should help buy time for that terrible o line and Sanders has a knack for finding zones and getting run after the catch, also heath miller is going to get them a few times so they will have to keep that in the back of their mind.

I agree. I guess I'm just nervous considering how inconsistent we've been. No doubt that we "can" win. Just a matter of not blowing our opportunities.

Even I have said I think the Steelers are in trouble with this game but the Texans are a team that is either on a hot streak or a cold streak. Plus they seem to lose close games in the end and can never close out the game. I just think this will be a game where the Texans do well but in the end the Steelers are the ones to close out the game and win.

Good argument. But I can't think of a single time we bracketed a guy. Most elaborate game plan I can recall is against the Cards in the SB. We used an inverted cover 2 for most of the game and it worked really well. Although I guess that was to defend more than just one dude.

On the pick Joe threw to heap he was bracketed from last years playoff game., at least form my understanding of the definition of bracket coverage I could be wrong though.

I won't make you feel any better. Steelers are in for a tough matchup. They are playing in Houston. Houston's D is much improved from last year (considering all the guys they got back from injury and the addition of Joseph) and will exploit the Steelers O-Line. On the opposite side of the ball the Texans O-Line is stellar in run blocking. Something the Steelers have been struggling with this year. Doesn't matter which back is in the game for Houston.

Last but not least.
Andre Johnson vs. Ike Taylor.

Steelers need to get their run game going (which will be hard with the O-Line) and they need to find a way to buy time for Wallace to get deep enough. Luckily he is very fast and can make it happen in 2 seconds.

Bad News for the Colts: Curtis Painter is now the starting QB

Good News for the Colts: They play the Chiefs next week.

I love looking at the percentages, and I'm surprised by the percentage for the Ravens/Jets

Ravens 80%
Jets 20%

Packers 99%
Broncos 1%

Vikings 81%
Chiefs 19%

I look for Ike to have ONE brain fart. Hopefully it doesn't equate to points, but we got lucky last week. I'm not worried about Ike at all. Your other points are valid, but, "that's why they play the game" as they say.

Long time, no talk....Im just not sure who the Steelers are these days (same with my team as well, obviously). I just see big Andre abusing your secondary too much and this game being where the Texans show the NFL they are they real deal this year. Sorry :D

Hopefully you're wrong.

Yea, I've been busy with the new job these days. Can't commit to anything like I used to. Really bummed I missed the picks this year.

I can't believe 81% think the Vikings will beat the Chiefs in KC. Nevertheless, I think of this matchup as the toilet bowl.
Can't remember who I picked. But have you seen the Chiefs play? Minnesota has had a meltdown in second half this year but they've been competitive with some good teams up to half time. Plus this week they'll actually give AP the ball more in the second half hoping to alleviate their 2nd half woes.

Going into Arrowhead isn't as scary now with the Chiefs being the worst team in the NFL.

There's no question the Chiefs have been blown to shreds and have been the worst team in the league through 3 weeks. I'm just not entirely sure that the Vikes are going to build another huge halftime lead. This may be a feel each other out type game.

Just read the Steelers will be without OT Jonathon Scott and Guard Doug Legursky against the Texans...... now I just made Warden feel even more bad about the chances of the Steelers winning.

I picked the Texans but it is my toss-up game this week. Big Ben has not looked liked Ben this season. Their O line is decimated. I read an article that said if their O line takes another injury they will have to move Ben to Tackle lol Add to that it is in Houston and I just think theTexans are out to prove they are for real.

Bills just got completely screwed. Dalton was short of the first down on the sneak, but on the review, they gave it to him. Bengals win 23-20.
