Foxworth To IR, Burgess signed

According to a tweet from 1winningdrive, Foxworth will head to the IR, and Prescott Burgess is likely to be re-signed.

I guess it depends, they probably didn't think his knee would be this much of a problem(he is going on IR because his knee, right? I'm just going to assume)

Foxworth was good depth at CB, I wonder why they're sending him to IR after he made it through camp and a few games already. Did he re-injure his knee?

Why would we do this now and not prior to Week 1? Foxy vested in Week 1, and we're on the hook for his salary now... I don't get this at all.

and naky is out for a month... Thats what really scares me.. Zibby is gonna be getting a ton of plyaing time...

Looks like the lack of offseason screwed us in really seeing where foxy was health wise..
I hope he can recover fully

Yeah, I was wondering about Smith too. Is this a good sign? Did the coaches feel confident shutting down Foxworth for the year because Jimmy is coming back this week? I guess we'll find out.

Yeah, Fox done, Nak out for at least a month, Carr still feeling the hammy a little bit, JSmith out (most likely) Sunday and Webb and Williams being very suspect in coverage every now and again. We need to BLOW their oline up with our front 7.....which I think we will!!

I'm still a little worried since Carr's hamstring has acted up multiple times. I wouldn't be surprised if we traded for or signed another corner.

Very possible that he's ready to go Sunday, hence the abrupt IR'ing of Fox.....one can only hope

the lockout really hurt Fox, not allowing him to rehab properly.

I doubt he is back this week. Why bring him back so soon and risk him gettin injured again when you can give him an extra week during the bye week

The reason for signing Burgess and not a CB has nothing to do with Smith. Dannell Ellerbe is still injured, and they want someone to replace him, if needed.

Foxworth was mediocre and overpriced even with perfect knees. I smell and injury settlement.

This was my first thought. What the heck is Kindle doin?! We just signed a guy we cut because the coaches aren't confident in Kindle.

At any rate, kinda saw Foxy put on IR coming. He wasn't gonna be playin and if he was healthy, a back up role only. So this makes sense to get a guy. But come on Kindle!

I really really hope Carr can stay healthy. Him and Webb with the experience and Jimmy Smith and Williams are gonna have to get us through the season
