A lot cheaper just hitting the sports bars up like a Buffalo Wild Wings or something. You spend
like 3 to $400 for the ticket and at the sports bar you might spend a little over a half of that with great food to go with it! I live in Dallas so I'm like a regular at the sports bars down here! I'm also pretty much the only Baltimore Ravens
fan down here also, haven't seen or heard of another Baltimore fan in Dallas!

I totally disagree wild wings is overpriced and only average food. At best... And why waste time hoping for seat at a sports bar, when u can relax within your own home watch the games. Going to bar doesn't compare to watching and contolling 8 games at once on the guide....

I'll admit being at home is more convenient.

But I love me some Buffalo Wild Wings.

Love em.

20 x 16 is 320.

So if you go for every game and only spend 20 you paid for sunday ticket. That includes gas to go there.

When my wife and I used to go to pubs for mnf with drinks and food it was $50 each game. Definately cheaper and more convenient to watch at home and get a better view of the game while being comfortable.

But to each their own...

When I go I'm spending $10 to $15 at the most and you have to factor in the televised games which it's been 2 already where I watch the game for free from the house and we will get at least 6 more televised games with the excitement the Ravens are bringing this year so they will flex us some more ttelevised games, I'm sure!

Sure, everyone wants to be at home looking at the game but the thought of paying $400 str8 up for the NFL Ticket is a lot of money that most people can't just fork up that easy! Also, you paying $400 and like I said, the Ravens have already been on TV once in my area and the Jets will make it two games in this young season so that's money I will get to save looking at the game at home but with the Ticket, you str8 locked in, with going to the bars, you are not, you can cut it off at any time!

Well, if you got money like that, yea...... its always up to each person. I'm just speaking for the average American person who is looking to get something at a cheaper price, logic..

It's not straight $400 at once u have that option or u can get $60 for 6 months... To say like oh pay $400 straight up is incorrect.. and $60 per month aint much when u look at fact every week u get access to 12 - 16 games....
Most monthly cell phone bills $60.. u go eat at Wild Wings and grab a beer or soda u sure to spend $20 and have noise not access to every television....
I'm a Ravens fan Yes!!!! but I'm also a huge football fan... If ravens on a bye week or game off football does not stop for me..... another thing to consider is how much do spend commuting to the bar? that money could also go towards the payment....
It's a decision we all have to make, but lets say this I have mortgage and other bills but cable aint worth nothing here in Lake charles, la in fact I got directv last yr because the cable-internet combo bill extended to $144 my directv bill is only $100

And u can unsubscribe to Sunday Ticket or NBA Pass at any time during season or year but u can't just break a directv contract without penalty there is a difference... the Sports Packages are no different from ordering HBO then deciding u don't want it anymore they just take it off your account simple

Actually a lot of your avg americans spend more than 20 a week at a sports bar. Its the environment that makes it go unnoticed.

Fyi adding ” logic” to the end of your post doesnt make it right. so lets re-cap. If you are new to dtv you get sunday ticket free. If in btwn contracts its free. Contracts being 2 yrs you pay 350 every other yr or 175 avg a yr. 32 weeks of football for 350.

that aside. Comfort of home with my kids watching any and every game beats a pub. Not trying to be at a pub with alot of people after working all week either.

Yeah my girlfriend and I generally drive to Baltimore every sunday to watch the games at Bay Cafe, and it's usually $40-50 between the two of us for the day. I like the atmosphere of watching the games in the city though so I don't mind

Maybe I should check the coverage maps to find where the Ravens are being televised - it is possible to check for such things, and I will try my best to catch the games whenever and wherever possible.
