ha, some of these guys are a little delusional...apparently it ISNT a joke to compare Sanchez to Flacco.
Do they seriously think Flacco has "peaked"? When he was supposed to be a developmental player ? He's on the downside in his 4th year? They're even dumber than I thought. What's in that green kool aid?

Roofies, lots and lots of roofies. That's why they can't remember that their QB is awful.

Word. I thought I saw one of them claim Flacco/Sanchez threads were rampant on our forums... when, in actuality, I haven't seen a single one... ever.

Seen my fair share of Flacco/Ryan threads and even a Flacco/Freeman thread but it's pretty much a given that Flacco trumps Sanchez.

Yeah, some guy on there wants to know if it bothers us that there are thousands of Flacco / Sanchez threads here but not a single one there.

tsk tsk

I just saw on ESPN's "Cold Hard Facts" that Dilfer said Sanchez > Flacco because he has an "intangible makeup" and scar tissue from being in New York? All he had to say about Flacco was "the arm".

Their main point seems to be that Sanchez has done better in the playoffs, which is true, but that hardly makes Sanchez a better QB. Joe's postseason performances haven't been great, but it's not like Sanchez is a postseason god. Postseason Sanchez is slightly better than regular season Sanchez, and regular season Flacco is so much better than regular season Sanchez that it's laughable to be even be discussing it.

He's probably still bitter that we didn't want him back after the Superbowl win.

I have to admit that I laughed aloud when you called one of them a very rude word.

All in all I think they're a homer group little different to any others. They're bound to defend Sanchez regardless of the opinion of everyone else, much the same with us and Flacco.

Jets fans with "Sanchez plays good in the playoffs" are just like Steeler fans and their "six rings" excuse. How does that mean you'll win NOW?

Sorta off topic but it's also similar to teams like the Lions and Bill getting praised for having multiple come back wins. A big comeback win is good from time to time but when it happens a lot I don't see it as a sign of a good team.

Done Better as in Being Bailed out by Rex Ryan's Defense? Also the way the Jets schedule lines up the next two weeks, us and the Patriots, the Jets may be looking at 3 straight losses. Plus with Buffalo playing the way they are, the Jets may not even come close to a playoff spot this year.

To be fair Sanchez has shown up to win some tough key games for them, like Flacco he deserves more respect than he gets. If he's on he's dangerous and can beat anyone.

Im just paraphrasing here...but the majority seem to think if they can shut down Ray Rice the game is won.

Which fits into my plan perfectly....since the Raiders ran all over them they will be looking to fix those issues all week. What they dont know if Cam and Joe could come out swinging for that early knockout..which means Mark Sanchez would be sitting back there...err, running for his life trying to make plays down field.

They also said the Ravens arent that good, they beat a Steelers team that is no good and lost to the worst Titans...and they blew out the Rams...which is nothing.

Some of them are nervous but others seem to think we are going to roll over.

I like this, they need to try and fix their run D..well guess what Lee Evans could be back, and we all know what Torrey Smith can do...so while they're stacking the box against the run...and Rex is blitzing nonstop because his front 3 or 4 cant get pressure anyway this sets up perfectly for us.

Joe does good when he gets blitzed, I dont know the stats but they are favorable for the most part.

I think we can really hit them hard and early and have their heads spinning.

BUT I do expect an angry Jets team to come to down because they just got embarrassed. I know the Ravens wont have a let down because they want to match their intensity and go even harder than them

in closing, they will spend all week on fixing their run issues...also, Cromartie is looking liek he might be out and if he plays he's injured so he wont be 100%....but he's not that good anyway..

Dickson and Pitta can exploit the middle of the field..I think Revis will match up on Evans or Torrey whoever plays....that means Boldin could be matched up on a backup or injured Cromartie....we have a lot more weapons than the Jets..

and Mark Sanchez is Prone to mistakes, i cant state that enough..I think Ed Reed sets the record for most return cards of INTs next week..

should be a fun game but honestly I think the Ravens win this, the home crowd will mix up and confuse the Jets offense, a few false starts, etc...

still, its any given Sunday but Im confident we are the better team...how they ever made it to the AFC Championship games two years in a row is a mystery to me..their QB still plays like a rookie
Ya too bad this is fans vs. fans. Rex is a lot smarter than the guys on their forums and Rex will have a good gameplan developed to stop us. Rex is a very smart defensive mind so I figure that it will be a tough game for our offense and Joe specifically.

Only thing i can say that Sanchez is better than at Flacco is in the clutch. Haven't seen to many clutch Flacco drives, seen a lot of comeback drives by Sanchez.

Well, when you have a ton more oppporunites to come from behind (not a good thing for team to be so proud about), that sort of thing happens. Not to mention failed "attempts" such as the Vikings game and Falcons game when he certainly did his job don't show up on those lists.

The Roddy White (missed) call wass a bummer, for sure, but Haushcka missing that field goal after that ridiculous comeback was so saddening!

Ah, the Vikings game. On my knees at the bar shouting at that ball to go through the uprights. Good times.

I was watching that game with my next-door neighbor, who also happened to be a Vikings fan and my station manager. Good thing he was a classy Vikes fan who didn't expect much of his team. Otherwise, we would've had some Hatfield-McCoy type action going after the game.
