Im just paraphrasing here...but the majority seem to think if they can shut down Ray Rice the game is won.

Which fits into my plan perfectly....since the Raiders ran all over them they will be looking to fix those issues all week. What they dont know if Cam and Joe could come out swinging for that early knockout..which means Mark Sanchez would be sitting back there...err, running for his life trying to make plays down field.

They also said the Ravens arent that good, they beat a Steelers team that is no good and lost to the worst Titans...and they blew out the Rams...which is nothing.

Some of them are nervous but others seem to think we are going to roll over.

I like this, they need to try and fix their run D..well guess what Lee Evans could be back, and we all know what Torrey Smith can do...so while they're stacking the box against the run...and Rex is blitzing nonstop because his front 3 or 4 cant get pressure anyway this sets up perfectly for us.

Joe does good when he gets blitzed, I dont know the stats but they are favorable for the most part.

I think we can really hit them hard and early and have their heads spinning.

BUT I do expect an angry Jets team to come to down because they just got embarrassed. I know the Ravens wont have a let down because they want to match their intensity and go even harder than them

in closing, they will spend all week on fixing their run issues...also, Cromartie is looking liek he might be out and if he plays he's injured so he wont be 100%....but he's not that good anyway..

Dickson and Pitta can exploit the middle of the field..I think Revis will match up on Evans or Torrey whoever plays....that means Boldin could be matched up on a backup or injured Cromartie....we have a lot more weapons than the Jets..

and Mark Sanchez is Prone to mistakes, i cant state that enough..I think Ed Reed sets the record for most return cards of INTs next week..

should be a fun game but honestly I think the Ravens win this, the home crowd will mix up and confuse the Jets offense, a few false starts, etc...

still, its any given Sunday but Im confident we are the better team...how they ever made it to the AFC Championship games two years in a row is a mystery to me..their QB still plays like a rookie

Joe and Cam will run alot of 3wr set, so Torrey, Evans, and Boldin will be on the field alot more. I'll see Cromatie will cover Torrey who will light him up with his super speed....

I swear, Jets fans are so ignorant of Baltimore, most of them hardly know there's a team out here. As far as they're concerned, Rex Ryan and Bart Scott descended from heaven in 2009 and our only player is "That runningback in my fantasy league".

Outside of their own team, the Jets fanbase is concerned with the Pats only; now that Buffalo is 3-0 they already have their eyes on more teams than they can count.

one comment made over there said Baltimore is still crying that their best LB left with Rex to go to NY ??

lol, that is ignorance...Ray Lewis elevates everyone elses game and he's the best EVER

The Jets underestimated us last time, too... and they were a better team in 2010.
they are good..but its mostly their defense..they have some good LBs, no reall pass rush thats why they have to blitz a lot..and Revis

Cromoartie is overrated and expensive..he cost them the game against the Raiders..and now he's injured so he might not play....I like our chances at home....

Id like our chances anywhere, as long as Sanchez is their QB...dude isnt that good

Jets fans just hate to admit they are the wanna-be Ravens lol. I dont like the Jets, and I particularly dislike their annoying fans. Not worried at all about them TBH. If they try to take away Rice then we will do what we did against the Rams and pass all over them. Other than Revis their secondary isnt that good.

Yeah, our best LB and our best safety. What are we gonna do?! Haha that's pretty sad.

I had guys over there blatantly tell me Sanchez is better then Flacco. That's a joke to me.
those are called diehard fans, deep down they know the truth but they will defend their QB all the way up until he loses his job...and its on to the next one

Sanchez has his moments....but overall he hasnt improved like good QBs should..

I read an article about some AFC or NFC scouts talking about Sanchez and they still say he doesnt recognize coverages, he locks onto his target, etc

Joe has grown every year, every hurdle except for the SB he has cleared.....most wins by a QB in his first 3 years in the league, a mark held by Dan Marino I think....and 3 playoff road wins...Joe has gotten better at getting out of the pocket and extend plays, he's deadly accurate for the most part and he has a huge arm..

I'm not saying Sanchez is a bad QB, just not good enough to beat us. Though, I've been proven wrong once before. ONCE. LOLZ.

Well I'll say it then. I think that Sanchez is a bad quarterback. He's unreliable when the game is put into his hands and is too reliant on his defense to be called good in my opinion. He's mostly a game manager and cannot take over games when needed.

That being said, it is simply inexplicable how much he wins. I don't know how he does it. Again, it may be somewhat related to the superb defense they carry, but sometimes, I just scratch my head on asking how he pulls out a win like that.

Yeah I saw your attempt at making honest football conversation shot down as the majority of the clearly weren't interested in any Ravens fans opinions.

I still have the game threads of last years match from the gang green message board bookmarked. It makes for some funny reading when I need a laugh.

The Jets are like the 2005 Ravens when we had Ray and Ed out. Ryan has CBs to work with and not much else, and Boller at quarterback.

From the things your saying, man they really are delusional. I mean first to think they would win just because of shutting down Rice, is the most dumbest thing I have ever heard. Guess they only expect Rice to play and for us to hand them the win. Second, we beat a bad Steelers team? So since the Steelers were basically the same team that went to the Super Bowl, that means we beat the same team that beat them in the AFC Title game. Second, they wouldn't be anywhere close to 2 AFC Title games if:

2009: The Colts hadn't pulled their starters, and GAVE the Jets a win, allowing them to make the playoffs. Now mind you this was at a 9-7 record, the EXACT record that got Mangini fired when it was Favre's fault all along. Mangini had actually been doing a great job helping build a team... which you can thank Mangini for Mangold, Revis, Harris and Ferguson by the way.

2010: They aren't anywhere near the title game if they had lost all those comeback games they made, which brings me to another point, when you make as many comebacks as they do, than your team isn't a Super Bowl caliber team, right Rex?

The Truth Hurts Don't It??? I bet I would be banned in a heart beat from their boards if I said all of this.

This will be a good game. The Jets will bring their A game as they are coming off a loss. As long as the Ravens show up, they should win by around 3-10 pts... but expect Ryan and Co. to be feisty...

I joined just for the heck of it. I'm still waiting for their Mods to approve my account.

I'll attempt to be as civil as possible since I know I wouldn't want them invading our board and making a mess in our house. But, if they're hostile towards me...well...yeah.

I tried to join last yr before the AFC Championship game, but I didn't get approved til a couple days "after" the game for some reason. They are kind of slow over there to be "New Yorkers".... lol.

That defeats the purpose of me joining!

It was the same way with the Steelers official message board...though they never did get around to approving my account after I registered years ago...hmm...

Jets fans on the week 4 thread seem either worried (which they should be after losing to Oakland) or overconfident BECAUSE they just lost. ("We always play great after a loss because the team wants to win")

Then you have the whole "Sanchez does better in the playoffs" which is relevant again. I'm sure Flacco's rookie games against Pitt and Tenn in '08 are the driving force behind the -3.5 line favoring us. It's hard to read the thread with my hand over my face.

On a related note... love how the Jets fans use our loss to Tennessee AND their loss to Oakland as reasons the Jets will win. "The Ravens lost to a decent team so they aren't that good, the Jets lost to a decent team so THEY'RE GONNA BE FIRED UP!"
