The Buffalo Bills

Great story, no one can argue that. But what makes these guys different from the '09 Broncos? You will recall that they started 6-0 with a miracle win against the Bengals, a solid win against the Cowboys, an OT win against the Pats and a hard fought win against the Chargers. And they won games in the same fashion as this year's Bills: a dynamic offense and a defense that was adept at forcing key turnovers.

Call me a party pooper but I just want to bring these guys and their bandwagoners back to Earth. You can't consistently win in the league playing this style of football, as evidenced by the Broncos' collapse to 8-8 that year. Experts are going to go crazy this week about these guys, and rightfully so because of all the storylines attached. They are a blue-collar team that plays hard, sure. But they should not be expected to maintain this level of performance for much longer. I actually wish the Ravens had an opportunity this year to do to them what we did to the Broncos in '09

You bring up a good point, but the Bills played a different Pats team than the Broncos did in '09. I still think that the Patriots are the second best team in the league, assuming Tom Brady doesn't go all Jake Delhomme on us again. If they can hang with the Pats, they should be able to hang with anybody. Even if history repeated itself, in a way, it would be an upgrade over the normal Bills routine. An 8-8 season would show progress, and considering how bad the Bills have been that would be a good thing.

I watched this game @ the bar while waiting for ravens vs rams to come on and all i can say is ...Good for you bills! Honestly, give their fans and bandwagoners their glory lol. Only time will tell if they are legitimate. My thoughts during the game were: great offense pretty good secondary terrible defensive line and pass rushers. Remeber that two of those tom brady interceptions were tipped balls so bills had quite a bit of luck on their sides this week.
