Terrell Suggs

I know everyone is all excited for the new lads like Pernell and Torrey firing it up big time for us; however, I want to tip my hat to suggs who already has 4 sacks on the season, and is on track to have his best season to date. I can definitely see him making double digit sacks this season and dare I say...lead the league perhaps. Its not just the sacks he gets though, whenever he rushes 9 times out of 10 he is breathing down the QB's neck.

Keep it up T sizzle, because stopping you alone, opens up lanes for some of our other talented pass rushers.

Bradford was scared of Suggs; after he was sacked by him, every time he sneaked a peek of Suggs' shadow, he made bad throw....

Suggs wants SB ring, not another pro-bowl stats...

I dont think anyone is going to argue with that at all, completely agree with you. Man i remember his rookie Season. I was like who is this guy. Because i dont follow College ball what so ever, just cant get into it. Although i will say this, I think College players should get paid something. Bare min. of 30k a yr.

Suggs is really fast. I would hate to have him chasing me around the backfield. He has the green and white in his sights.

T-Sizzle is the best overall DE/LB in the NFL, and he's in his prime and only going to get better.

Demarcus Ware is pretty good as well

but I will give Suggs credit he is a great LB/DE

Sizzle is the man, and now that teams have to respect the rest of our D-line Sizzle is going OFF!! Offenses can't afford to take their eyes off of anyone on the line now and it's scary.

I'd put Freeney/Mathis, Suggs, Harrison, and Ware all up for best pass-rushers in football.

You can add Justin Tuck and Trent Cole to that list

I'd say Suggs is the best all around LB though. Harrison is a great pass rusher, and run defender but you rarely see him in pass coverage.

The thing about Terrell Suggs is he's just so excellent and elite in run support. He traditionally always stays back and behind, grounded. Unlike those pass rushers who lead the league in sacks, he doesn't cut up field no matter what and sell out the other 10 guys on the team if it's a run. He's disciplined, and he's one of the best run stopping defensive ends in the league. Some years he was unquestionably #1 in the league, by a far margin at run support.

But now he's just an all-out playmaker. And he plays so well against the best in the game. Tom Brady and Big Ben.

Id take sizzle over any of em.. U watch that dallas wash game? On wash's goalline td, ware shoulda pixked up the flat or at least prevented the pass.. He hesitated and just went back to rushing rex.. Ive seen sizzle a million times in that situation break the play up

I feel like the salty vets on this board who took a stand for Suggs in 09 deserve a giant "I told you so" moment for all the fools who wanted to get rid of him.

Therefore "I told you so"

Suggs 4 President.

I'll take him over Willis, Ware, Harrison, Matthews or any other LB you can think of.
[/quote]

I don't think putting willis in there is fair as he's an ILB.

Ah, memories .... good thing we didn't trade Suggs for a bag of chips and a firm handshake as was recommended!!

Just sayin...there's no other LB I would rather have, whether they play inside or out.
