Flacco was not inconsistent last season. After the Bengals game his performance the next 7 weeks (might have been 8) was 2nd only to Tom Brady. Hardly inconsistent. Yet after 4 this season everyone is saying how inconsistent he is. You can't have it both ways. If you want to say Flacco is inconsistent after 4 games then those defensive ratings vs the pass count after only 4 games too.

No one that I've seen has said Flacco didn't have a horrible outing. It was a bad game. No one is arguing that. It is the labeling and the fact that most of these people we will not see post anything positive about Flacco. They only come out when he has a bad outing.

Show me where i said he was inconsistent. I said; he played bad against a few of the better defenses in the league as always so you can hardly consider that consistent anyway. Flacco throws one of the best deep balls in the league, i just want to see him do better in the middle of the field. Against better competition.

That wasn't the intent of the thread. If you are mad about something, it is probably due to whatever interactions you have had in the process. For example, I dont think that guy was trying to insult you...just a by product of talking about this.

Precisely. Flacco also had two bad games and two good games the first four games last year, but it would be pretty ridiculous to say he was inconsistent last year.
