Rex should have his defense super fired up to erase the pain of this past week's demolition and to show up his former team. I expect a very, very chippy game. This will probably be the stiffest defensive challenge we've faced this year. Really a heck of a test for our offense. Our defense also for that matter, but I'm more worried about their D than their O. Not a Sanchize fan - at all.

A pumped up Ngata against a shuffled interior offensive line would just be perfect. I'm looking for our franchise player to create some chaos from the inside, flushing Sanchez out of the pocket and forcing him to throw on the move.

As for the offense, I can't confidently assume anything, partly because I still have some trust issues with them after the game against Tennessee. All I can do is hope that they attack like they did against Pittsburgh and St. Louis and come out swinging.

IMO this is going to be the real test for our team, For sure our Offence. Rex (IMO) primary plan will be Key up on Ray Rice, he is very confident with his corners and safeties (which are very good) and I think that will be his down fall. He will stack the box and I expect to see those safeties getting closer to the line (aka Troy type) and his LB's are going to drop back into short coverage. Our TE are going to be (should) a big factor in our game plan this week. IMO I would use Ray as a front, and expose the FB/TE more in the short passing game. Their corners are good and it will take time for our rec's to get separation, with the FB/TE hitting those short passes the run will open up for Ray in due time. This is going to be a who has more patients game(which I don't think Rex has) IMO....Ravens 21-13

Rex Ryan is going to come at us with a lot of heat. I know that both teams are equally capable of getting this win. The only advantage we have is home court. M&T Bank is going to be loud come Sunday night lets hope our Purple & Black boys can come out with a win!

I can't wait for this game. I want us to just crush dirty sanchez...I don't like him.
Me neither, I want to see Pernell McPhee destroy him!

Sanchez has a broken Nose, his center is hurt, and Cody is coming back. Look out Sanchez, Mount Cody is going to have a breakout game. Ray Rice is better than Mcfadden, so expect more rushing yards from him, Boldin vs.Revis, expect another big game from Torrey Smith, and lastly, Jets no longer have a pass rush.

It's gone a tough game sunday night, against Rex and his team. They will be amped up just like our team. I believe we are the more talented team though.

if cromartie is out, the jets could be in trouble. look at what we did to kyle wilson last year, now he will be their #2 corner covering lee evans. then their #4 cb will be trying to cover torrey. their safeties arent great so torrey could torch by all of them. i expect another good game from torrey and an even bigger game from ed dickson.

as for our defense, they could have a field day with mangold out and ngata getting constant pressure. and ed reed will be licking his chops with sanchez dropping back

Cody was back last week. Just because Rice is a better runner doesn't mean he'll have over 171 yards, because the Jets will likely focus in on the run after being gashed. Also, they'll be covering Torrey better than the unsuspecting Rams did, so he probably won't have a big game next week either. That's not to say we won't win. Just don't expect Rice and Torrey to man-handle the Jets that easily.

They cannot cover everyone. If they are covering Smith hard then Evans, or Q get open, or the TEs or Ray. And their run defense has been suspect this year. Someone is going to get some play. Their defense just isntt that good.

I didn't say their run defense was great, but I expect them to focus in on stopping the run and the deep ball.

Pitta and Dickson are going to be the stars of this game. I can't see the Jets allowing any 74 yard TD passes so Flacco will have to piece together some long, methodical drives. Hopefully the young TE's will see a lot of 10 yard passes.

Anybody know what uniform combo we are wearing?

I believe this is the first of two games that we will wear the black alternative jerseys.

Well I'll say this, just like last week this will be a game that the Jets won't be able to make another comeback and once again just like last week the Jets will be exposed. I say we win this and let's hope this is the start of knocking the Jets out of the playoffs and Rex Ryan can finally shut his mouth.

What challenge, Sanchez can't do anything.

This game is going to come down to which defense breaks the most. Outside of the corners, the Jets defense is rather weak, so that is a favorable match-up. The smart thing to do is work the middle and run a lot of two TE sets, since the Jets have terrible linebackers. This game is on the offense though, I think our defense can handle Holmes and Burress, and I think Greene is overrated.

If the team shows up to play, we'll be fine. I don't think we'll have a hangover after the Rams' game.
I wouldnt be so quick to say that. I'm pretty sure 3 or 4 games in a row sanchez led his team on game winning drives in the 4th quarter to win the game on really good comebacks. I agree Sanchez is not as good as some people think, and if we put pressure on him early he will struggle, yet the key for the ravens this week is to FINISH. For whatever reason sanchez plays well in the 4th quarter usually but if we scare him early like we did bradford the jets are going to have some real problems. The jets corners are very fast so too be honest if evans doesnt play our match ups could be troublesome, but if he does play the jets secondary will be severely tested. If evans plays and cromartie doesnt, the jets could have some serious problems. The ravens run defense has picked up right where it left off and we already have 9 sacks this year, which is 1/3 of what we had last year after only 3 games. We have the players to hurt the jets, but we will need to execute to win.

Yeah, think this will be a close one. The Jets haven't rushed for 100 yards through three games; don't think they'll do it Sunday night either. Sanchez did manage to lay a whuppin' on Chicago and almost got it done against Oakland. Hit him early and often and make the Jets try to run the ball. Also Jets seem oddly vulnerable against the run this year.

He won't be playing.

I also don't know why on earth you'd think he'll be better then Revis in his first game.
Where did I say that? I don't want to say it was a joke but it's wildly obvious that he won't outplay Revis in his first game. I was just attempting to hype up his possible return. Relax buddy

Sanchez is mistake prone. Pressure him often. Attack offensively from the start and put the pressure on Sanchez to make throws. Get them behind early by 2 scores. A one-dimensional Jets' team is easily beatable.

So, if Evans plays this week, in 3W+ sets...Who would be the slot? Torrey or Lee? I'm not getting to far ahead thinking Torrey will blow up every game like he did Sunday. I think we present A LOT of mismatches in this games, especially with Dickson and Rice as wild cards!.

i agree!

Torrey had a monster game on Sunday. it was awesome! however, he is still learning how to get off of the bump and how to run his routes. we have to see how he does against top-tier defenders. having said that....i do feel that with Boldin, Lee, Torrey and even Doss being thrown in the mix along with our TEs (Dickson/Pitta) that we would present some crazy mismatches vs the Jets. we'll see how Cam scripts this one.

Living in New York, I had a chance to hear Rex on the local Sports show. He said he is not worried about their offense and that they played a great game. They kinda did with over 400 yards....but this is just my take after he lambasted his defense said they didn't get it done and that is not who they are. He is obviously concerned about his D. He was not his usual cocky funny self on the radio. I think he is worried about comin to Baltimore and you know what???

I think Rex should be worried.

I think Ngata is just gonna wreak havoc on Sanchez and I am convinced we get our run game goin this week. Another solid week for our o-line to gel and maybe Grubbs even comes back but if not Gurode played decent enough.

We also have Carr back and I still think he is underrated. He is a smart CB and he makes plays. I would like him starting over Williams. Wiliams has a target on his back from every QB in the league. I am just not that comfortable with him yet. Throw Webb and Carr out there.
