Defense? Let's Bring That Pressure!

SInce in our previous game agianst the Titans i only notice one thing wrong with our defense........

What might that be???

Well i belive that our defense didn't put alot of pressure on Hasselbeck. We were doing a 3 man front with everyone esle back in pass coverage after Hasselbeck started to turn elite. Yet then agian the titans did a great jobs mixing up there blitz's and weak side 3 man rushes along with alot of 2v1 blocks that our O-line could not pick up.

Anyway i hope that we Mix up are Blitz's and get Ray his 2nd ring

Well it has been discussed to death already, but Hasselbeck has a very quick release so it is always going to be hard to get pressure on him. We blitzed a lot but he was to quick with his reads and his release.

Also it is not so much that we bring pressure it is that we need to disguise it way better than what we did, and get teh QB to read the D wrong, that will alleviate a lot of those quick throws against a west coast system.

Although Hasselbeck has seen a lot, that is why Vet QB's play well against us because we bring pressure but they have seen it and USUALLY know where there hot read is.

I'm def not worried about the D this week...With Carr coming back Foxworth will def be siting this game. Williams , Webb and Carr will def give the Rams offense some problems...Not to mention Pollard will more then likely start this game too

why would pollard start this game? Nothings changed between zibby n pollard healthwise so im pretty sure zibby will be starting

Im not a fan of Zibby as our starting SS. He makes an excellent backup, but I think having a beastly hitter like Pollard complementing Ed is better than Zibby's supposed coverage skills.

everyone was singing his praises last year when reed was out... The better overall player is starting imo
