Alex Smith got 21 points on my bench, Eli has only 5. I am down 23 points and only have Anquan left. Of course if Peyton throws to Welker, I can cut the lead down a bit.

Andrew Luck @ SF

or

Jay Cutler @ PITT

Tavon Austin @ DAL

or

Mike Wallace ATL

Luck because he plays a similar style to Wilson, who had a great day against SF's D.  Luck will get his rushing yd and likely a goalline rushing TD too.  As for your WR, I would go with Wallace, as he's more reliable and has a better matchup.

Should I start Torrey or Marlon brown this week?

Reed will likely guard Torrey, so Marlon should have an easier game.

Starting only 3 recievers this week but i have 4

Colston, hakeem Nicks, Eddie Royal, Julio Jones.

Right now im stuck between Royal and Colston. Colston wasnt very impressive except 1 big catch with 3 min left last week vs Revis. and is now going against Patrick peterson (Calvin dominated i know) just leery of that match up for him. thoughts? like Nicks vs Carolina and i like Royal vs Tenn and Julio is Julio never benching him.

Always start your studs (unless they draw Revis and are not named Megatron)

Colston Nicks Jones

My question

Alex Smith vs Philly or Eli Manning vs Carolina

Really Smith over Eli? I want hear the reasoning behind this

Philly has a terrible defense and Eli has struggled. Carolina will be able to pressure Eli as well.

Plus you'd think Andy Reid will be formulating a great game plan against his former team, one which includes a lot of throwing.  He's not going to take it easy on them if they get a lead.

Though, I'd probably stick with Eli.  This is why I didn't want to own him.  He's one of those players you start, he sucks.  You bench, he goes off.  Frustrating.

Carolina has also gotten lit up 300 yards twice by rookie EJ Manuel and Russell Wilson.

In addition, Carolina's edge rushers haven't been that productive through the first two games. Against the Giants whose o-line is better than that of the Bills at the very least, (probably on par with Seattle) I don't expect that to change.

Finally, Eli has better weapons than either of those teams and with a weak run game should be forced to and able to throw on a very weak Carolina secondary.

Remember Alex Smith got the Jaguars week 1 (arguably much weaker than Philly) and only put up 173 yards and 1 td (with Charles getting a break in the 3rd quarter)

And just for kicks, Eli does have his back against the wall and usually plays his best when this occurs.

Edit: btw you never responded to my pm

KC defense @ PHI or BUF defense @ NYJ?

Darren McFadden @ DEN or Joique Bell @ WAS?

I thought I might bench McFadden this week, considering Starks of all people had a huge day against the Redskins defense last week. Not sure the extent of Bush's injury.

Play Buffalo and Bell. Mcfadden isn't going to do anything.

Already plugged those two in! Thanks man. Hard to swap out KC, they've been on a roll as of late, but I still see Philly putting up at least 20 points.

If you are so confident in Eli why are you asking? He has looked bad this season. Alec Smith has a lower ceiling but is safer against that awful D. Smith has also been getting rush yards which boosts his fantasy value.

Gresham will get more opportunity and GB has been poor against the pass. Dalton looks to Gresham a lot so I would stick with him.

Bradford's hot!  I should have started him over Brees last week.

Royal's been hot this season.  Rivers has looked a lot more confident on the field.  With Matthews bolstering the run game, the passing game should continue to do well.

KC because of Reid's knowledge of PHI.  The Jets should do well in a non-Patriots division game.

If you have Bush, handcuff Bell to him.  If not, go with DMC.  OAK will probably just run the entire game, as they have no passing game.

Jermaine Gresham or Charles Clay

Gresham was decent against PIT, so go with him instead of rolling with Clay Feet.

Wayne and Bryant for sure. Pierce slight edge over Edelman for flex. Is it PPR?

Bryant and Wayne.  For your flex, you could go with either Brown or Pierce.  :ravensquote:  Depends on if your league is skewed towards WRs or RBs.

The Trent Richardson trade killed me THIS week. great long term though.

QB: Vick

WR: Megatron and Cobb

TE: Julius Thomas

Flex: Gronk (if playing), Stevie Johnson if not.

I need to pick 2 running backs of these 5... Trent Richardson, Darren McFadden, Stevan Ridley, Willis McGahee, and Lamar Miller.
