Cheifs D/ST or Patriots D/ST or Ravens D/ST?

I've picked up the Chiefs for game one.

Jax should have a better offense this year with MoJo back and two solid starting tackles, but it's just hard to have any faith in Gabbert. He's always good to throw a pick or two, and I just can't see him dealing with KCs stud linebackers.

I've got 2 teams going, and picked the Buccs in my other team, and would have them in both but someone already picked them.

The Buccs pass D wasn't great last year, but they've made big improvements.

Rex will want to run the ball a lot, but I think the Buccs were something like 2nd against the run last year.

I can see Geno getting sacked a fair few times, and he seems to have a habit of staring down receivers. Good luck if he tries throwing over to Revis Island.

I'm a bit stuck as to who to start as my number 2 receiver.

I've got Torrey Smith, who could have a big game against a depleted Broncos secondary and little to offer in pass rush. Problem he'llbe in double coverage a lot. I'd like to think he'll have a big game, but I think we'll be running much more than passing.

I also have TY Hilton, who is up against the Raiders. I se a big win for Indy, and TY should have a decent game, but the Raiders secondary is one of the stronger areas on the team (although that's not saying too much)

Mike Wallace is another choice. I'm not starting him. I think Joe Hayden will shut him down. Browns D looks scary good.

My final choice is Desean Jackson. I see him having a big night. I'm excited about the Eagles offense, and Jackson should have a big part to play. I do not like the Skins D at all. I can see big nights for a few Eagles, and I think Jackson will put on a show.

So it's really a choice between Jackson, Smith and Hilton. Right now I'm leaning towards Jackson. Thoughts?

Heres just a quick thought id throw out there for some of you guys in leagues that have an IR slot.  You might want to think about picking up Percy harvin and throw him on the IR, chances are he wont be back till late in the year but you never know.  Also, taking zach sudfield until gronk comes back i think is a good play

Nah, this is ATD's 12-team ppr league. I had to load up on WRs in the middle rounds since I went RB heavy (and Peyton Manning early).

It's pretty bad since my WR1 is Antonio Brown and my WR2 I have to juggle these guys. But at least my flex is concrete with my RBs as Charles, Bush, and Sproles in a ppr league.

I think you are going to be happy with brown as a one in ppr actually. And Hilton IMO will be a stud this year.

Yea, I have no problem with Brown as a one.  If he can stay healthy, he should rack up targets in this offense.  I especially can stomach him since I'm going with a three headed ppr-RB-monster.

In my league of record, I got Brown as my WR2 behind Dez.  Very excited about this combo as well.

It's a 12 team league.  Brady was sitting there late in the 3rd round so I took him.

Same with me and Luck.

I picked up TB too!  Any defense gets the Midas touch when playing against NYJ.

Start Torrey because he's a #1 option going against a battered secondary in the thin atmosphere at Mile High.

Easy one for me, Patriots FTW.

Opportunistic defense against a rookie QB

Nah, Gabbert is still worse than Manuel.  With fewer offensive weapons, I might add.

Ravens D this week or Bucs. It's a stupid question cause the Bucs are playing the Jets, but an unbiased answer would be great.

Torrey Smith or Steve Smith?

The Battle of the Smiths!  Go with Torrey: much better matchup and reliable passing QB.  Not to mention DEN's secondary woes.

I'm literally starting TB over BAL this week.  Any D facing NYJ turns to gold.

I don't usually draft Ravens players outside of Rice. I like consistency too much lol

I'm in 7 leagues this year and I own ZERO Ravens.  Grant it, a lot of those are BR leagues where Ravens tend to get over drafted.

I have Tucker and our D in a lot of leagues, and Torrey in quite a few. I think those guys and Rice will be more consistent this year.

QB: Russell Wilson

RB: CJ Spiller

RB: Jamaal Charles

WR: Marques Colston

WR: Larry Fitzgerald

TE: Kyle Rudolph

Flex: David Wilson (someone just dumped Wilson... wondering if they got confused with him and Andre Brown)

K: Garrett Hartley

D: Tampa Bay

Bench:

QB: Tony Romo (just looked and saw he's available now... big upgrade over my old back up (Josh Freeman)

RB: Chris Ivory

RB: Isaac Redman

WR: Chris Givens

WR: James Jones

TE: Owen Daniels

Would you start Romo or Wilson for week one? I think Romo may be my usual starter, but the Panthers don't have a great secondary, so Wilson could have a good week.

Will keep both QBs and hope that a top quality QB goes down injured - both should be good trade bait.

Other team...

QB: Colin Kaepernick

RB: CJ Spiller

RB: Frank Gore

WR: Torrey Smith

WR: Dwayne Bowe

TE: Jared Cook

Flex: Chris Johnson

K: Greg Zuerlin

D: Kansas City

Bench:

RB: Daryl Richardson

RB: Darren Sproles

WR: TY Hilton

WR: Mike Wallace

WR: Desean Jackson

TE: Brandon Myers

Just dumped Carson Palmer for Richardson. If Wilson goes down injured, I can still either pick him back if no one wants him, or get someone like Alex Smith, Jay Cutler or Ryan Tannehill.

RIP to anyone facing Manning

I feel pretty confident in the two BR leagues that I started Manning in.  A 65.28 (Manning's score) lead going into the weekend feels pretty good.  I would have preferred a big fat ZERO from him though.

I've had a look at free agent TEs in one of my leagues, and there's A LOT of talent still there.

If you were to pick 2 of the following, who would you choose?

Jordan Cameron (Browns)

Jared Cook (Rams)

Brandon Myers (Giants)

Zach Sudfeld (Patriots)

Julius Thomas (Broncos)

Tyler Eifert (Bengals)

Currently I have Myers and Cook, but I'm tempted to grab Thomas now before someone else does... if can anywhere near as well as he did last night for the rest of the season, he'll be a fantasy star.

I'm thinking I'll probably wait it out until Monday though. Cook and Myers are on new teams, they should be good, but you can never be certain and we just can't be sure if the rookies will look out of their depth until we see them play.

Well given Julius big game yesterday, its hard to deny.  But I highly doubt the Broncos throw for 400+ yards and 7 TDs every game.  It's going to be hard for consistency.

But with that being said.  Out of all those guys I'd most want Cameron & Julius on my team RIGHT NOW.

Myers hasn't been much of a factor in PS and I worry about his role in that offense going forward.  Sudfeld fate is still in the air.  Cook is more of a play in standard league, but he's not going to be a high volume guy.

Also... for my flex position...

I currently have CJ Spiller and Frank Gore as my starting running backs.

I have Chris Johnson in the flex right now. Levitre and Warmack could end up as good as Yanda/Osemele, and I really like Roos at LT. Think he could have a big year... but he is against the Steelers.

I have Torrey Smith (oops!) and Dwayne Bowe starting at WR (Bowe should have a good game vs the Jags).

My choices other than Johnson are TY Hilton (Andrew Luck vs the Raiders... he should do well), Darren Sproles (for some reason he's struggled vs the Falcons), Desean Jackson (can see him doing well vs Washington), Mike Wallace (want to wait to see how well he works with Tannehill) and Daryl Richardson (the Cards D is not bad at all, but I think he'll get a lot of touches).

Thoughts?
