Not a start sit but still a scale question.

Which Running back situation would you rather have going forward:

Hightower & Torain
Stewart & DeAngelo Williams

I think the Stewart & DeAngelo Williams, idk if others agree with me, but Newton has been fantastic in the grand scheme of things, and teams can't load the box with him otherwise they'll be picked apart in the passing.

I would start both Cam Newton and the Saints Defense. No problem there. Patriots defense has issues. Plus Mayo is out. Ugly.

Ridley will overtake BGE soon enough. But for this game I'd still go with BGE. But I probably like Ridley more if Woodhead can't go. Is Isaac Redman on your wire? I doubt Mendenhall goes and with Ben nursing injuries, Redman could see 20-25 carries w/ Goalline work.

Wallace. I also think GB vs Nelson is a shoot out. Start Nelson.
Thanks for the D suggestion. I see the Bengals D is also on the wire and there are claims they could be a sleeper D this week, but I just have no trust in them.

Redman's not on the wire, someone grabbed him two weeks ago...our "spends hours analyzing the stats" guy. I could grab Redley in place of Tomlinson, but the risk of having both RB's from the same team seems like a bad move.

WR - Wallace, J. Nelson for sure. Right now it's neck and neck between D. Moore and D. Nelson. Houston is 10 and Philly is 11 in passing defense, but Moore is their #1 WR versus #2 for Nelson. I know Colston could have a good game because Carolina is just barely ahead in the pass D, but he's #3 on their depth chart and still coming off that broken collarbone. Thoughts?

Well I went the other direction. Truth be told. I just wanted to get Williams and Stewart off my team. They eat at each others production so much and I have yet to start one of them in 3 games. I know I didn't get myself in a much better situation with Hightower or Torain.

But here's my thinking. Redskins are 6th this season with rushing the football plus they have two matchups against the Eagles. Panthers are 17th with the a lot of yards coming from Cam including Goal line touches.

Green-Ellis and Tomlinson
or
Green-Ellis and Ridley?

Ridley is still on the FA wire surprisingly enough, I could pick him up

Eh. That's pretty ugly. I actually like Ridley in this game since Woodhead will be out. Think Ridley gets like 5 catches out of the backfield. But pairing him up with BGE is risky.

If Ridley wasn't picked up this week, he will for sure next week.

Point taken, [s]I think I will replace Ben Tate with him though[/s]

Errrrr, let me think about that one, I'm setting myself up for a problem with RB in week 7 if I do that, though Tate is likely going to start getting less touches since Foster is getting healthy.

This week with baby ray out, I have Fred Jackson and Sproles starting in the 2 spot. I also have Addai and am tempted to put him in a flex spot since the Chiefs allowed 24pts avg to RB's. Anyway you put him in the flex over J. Finley or Gronk?

I owned Tate in a 12 team league without Foster. Last night I traded Tate to the Foster owner for Micheal Crabtree. Foster has come back with a vengeance. You should see if you can get an upgrade out of the Foster owner.

I would put Finley in the flex. I expect GB and Atlanta to be a shootout.

That's a tough one.

Sproles has a better chance of having 100+ total yards. Addai has a better chance of seeing the endzone. If I had both on my team I'd probably go with Sproles. He's making the most of every touch and he always has a chance of breaking a long one.

Marques Colston or Sidney Rice?
I'd suggest Sidney Rice. Colston is only in his second week back from his injury and Carolina is ranked 6th for pass defense. Giants are 18th.

Chris Johnson has back to back double digit fantasy point games, against Cle and Pitt, should i take the risk and start him, or just keep waiting?

Stafford (vs. SF) or Newton (vs. ATL)?

And should i stick with Arian Foster this week against us? or plug in Peyton Hillis (vs OAK)

Stafford or Newton, either one would be fine, Newton will play the lesser defense, but his offense doesn't move without him. Stafford is playing a lights out defense, that just came over a 45 point win over Tampa Bay, so I'm guessing stafford will have to throw, idk how best will do in that game.

I believe Foster is a must start in all situations, but I also think the Hillis matchup is alot more favorable. Last time Foster played us he did rush for 100 yds

With the year that CJ is putting up I think I'd take that trade in a heartbeat. You still have Foster and Jackson as #1/2 RB's.

I would take that in an instant, i have CJ on my team, whats he have now, 9 TDs? And i dont see it stopping anytime soon. Yes Forte is doing good also, but you have Foster and Jackson and even good backups in Mathews and Wells. Grant and Holmes kind of cancel each other out, cause they both havent done much. So yeah i would take it.

Gotta go with Newton. He's the goal line back and passing machine. Plus he's playing a bad defense. I love me some Stafford ofcourse. But Cam is killing it when he isn't playing in a monsoon.

Stick with Foster. He is the everything weapon for them. Checkdowns and rushing. He's also their best redzone threat. He is a go.

I would absolutely accept this trade! Your RB group is rock solid, and your WR group is weak. You could easily let Forte go. Plus Megatron is having a phenomenal year. Accept the trade before the guy changes his mind!

*gulp*

this week I play the guy who has
Aaron Rodgers.... and he plays St Louis... if there was ever a week for Green Bay to find a running game :)

the rest of his team looks like
RB: McFadden
Tate
WR: Jennings
Harvin
Cruz
TE: Olsen
K: Janikowski
DEF: Pitt or Houston

he and I both have started off with a 3 and 2 start, the winner takes 4th place the loser....

WR
Pick 3

Roddy White
Jeremy Maclin
Mike Wallace
Marques Colston

RB
Pick 2
Jahvid Best
Payton Hillis
Darren Sproles
Laggaratte Blount (injury?)

I'm thinking the first 3 Receivers, and maybe the middle 2 RB's

I would accept this trade as well. You are stacked at RB. Your WR core would get an instant star.

White (no Julio and I am hoping Roddy gets targetmania)
Wallace
Maclin

Hillis (should have a nice bounce back game)
Best - Since coming in the league his stats are immensely better at home. He's at home.
