Need to take down Pu in the ESPN league this week. With F-Jax out, I've got Morris at RB2. I'm a bit unsure about who to start at WR3 and my flex spot. Here are the players:

Robert Meachem
Pierre Thomas
Justin Blackmon
Mike Williams

Also confliced which defenes to start: Cowboys or Eagles.

In another league, should I go with Vick or Flacco?

Mark Ingram vs the Panthers or Cedric Benson vs the Bear. I need 1 to take over for Fred Jackson this week.
I'd go with Benson. I won't be surprised he doesn't top 90 yards but he should definitely do better than the 18 he managed last week and he's good bet to punch at least one in.

I'd go Ingram. I think he has potential to break out and who better to against Panthers. I like Chicagos run D alot better, I think it could be a shootout Thurs night, especially with the Packers (maybe) trailing. Saints have a crowded back field, but after last week I think they want to run more, also get more out of their 1st round pick who's rarely fully healthy right now.

I don't know why you would consider starting the Eagles defense. lol. I know their secondary is better then the Bengals but I still think if Joe can't score a lot of points, Rice will.

Also feel that about Vick. Just threw 4 picks vs the Browns, he looked like a rookie out there. I don't see it improving vs us. Our D did look kinda shakey but I still wouldn't start a QB vs us. Last year we gave up the least amount of points to QB's.

Maybe I'm just a homer but I never start people vs the Ravens. But it also makes a lot sense not to.

That shouldn't be too hard. My money is on you. I'm pretty much starting the entire Lions team (besides the one to own - Calvin) against the 49ers. Stafford, K Smith & Burleson.

I have a couple: Doug Martin or CJ Spiller .5 PPR.

Also pick 2 in PPR: antonio brown, torrey smith, brandon lloyd.
CJ Spiller blew up last week and i dont see him slowing down at all this week in a PPR situation especially against KC who gave up 292 yards last week.

I have a hard time starting any receiver against NYJ, and i think T. Smith will expose DRC if that is who will be shadowing him.
Lloyd obviously has a favorable matchup against AZ.

PPR League, looking for a Flex spot...
Sidney Rice/Deangello Williams/Stephen Hill.

I remember sidney being a top 10 WR a few years back, does he still have it?
Same with Deangello as he was my first round pick up 3 season's back, but he seems to have lost most, if not all of his mojo...
Stephen Hill seems promising, but is on a lackluster NYJ offense who just so happened to score 40 points against a modest Buffalo team....

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

Man have you struck Gold. Spiller though.

PPR. Hmmmm. If Revis doesn't play I'd take Brown and Lloyd. If he does play, I'll go Torrey and Lloyd.

I'd wait to see if NYJ can do it twice in a row. The Steelers are going to be hungry and Sanchez can be flustered (unlike Manning). DeAngelo, Ughh. That leaves me with Rice.

Dallas has some good CBs but I can see a very likely scenario where the Seahawks will have to throw. Rice it is for me. (Now cue DeAngelo to go off for 150 yards - that's how those Carolina backs roll).

Donald Brown or Steven Ridley... I usually stay away from NE RB's, but when you have Ingram on your team as a #4 RB in a 7 team league I think you can afford to risk it. lol

Starting

RG3
Martin
Ridley?Brown?Turner?
Nicks
Wallace
Gronk

Thanks PU, i like Stephen Hill ALOT but i also like to see how he does in week 2.
Im starting Sid Rice seeing as how stymied Deangelo got as the lone stud back against a "less than stellar" Bucs D...

I'm on the fence with Hill. He could break out and you don't want to miss that. But he is still very raw and if he progresses, he'll be matched up against better corners. Plus teams will have more film on how the Jets use his 'raw' abilities and aim to take that away those simplified looks.

Ridley. Ridley is a very nice play in any game the Patriots are expected to win in a blowout. He'll get a ton of carries.

Forte in a high scoring game, what's not to love. Though Spiller is great as well. No way you can get both guys in?

Ogletree doesn't have the skill of your other studs. I like Roddy White & Jordy Nelson. Nelson and White could both be in a shootout.

PPR league...Cobb or Sproles at the flex? Demarco or MJD at RB?
Sproles. Because you know its consistent production.

Murray. Although MJD will get a lot of touches he'll be going against the stout Texans in a game they should be behind in. Murray will also be going against a tough D but he'll get a lot of touches in a game that they should be ahead in.

Yeah I'm leaning towards Ridley. I just have trust issues with BB and his RBs. But it looks like Ridley is clearly the #1.

I also don't usually don't start RB's and TE's that are on the same team but I think this time it will work.

The one thing about BB is be prepared for changes. Maybe the reason he can't be trusted with running backs is because he hasn't really had one worth riding as a feature back. When he did - Dillion in 2004 - Dillion was getting 23 attempts per game for 1,600 yards.

The running backs he has had since then have been Maroney, Faulk, Woodhead, BGJE, Morris, Fred Taylor (past his prime). None of which are true feature backs. Ridley has the talent to be a feature back. And if he keeps picking up chunks at a time, while the defenses are focused on the pass, he'll have a huge year.

BGJE had pretty good fantasy success but I get what you mean. I'm not sold on Ridley yet. If he has another solid 2-3 weeks then I will be. With how bad the Pats pass protection has looked I think they run it more this year. Vereen started practicing which has me a little bit concerned. I just hope he can hold on to the ball so he can keep his job. BB don't play that haha.

I'm still not sold on BGJE as a feature back. The guy does some things right. He runs north and south and he doesn't turn the ball over (which can work well against us). But his skill set is still limited. He fits will in the Bengals system.

I agree. He got a lot of TDs though for the Pats the last 2 years. It's difficult because I like Browns matchup just as well. Really need this win..

Start him. That front 7 of the Browns is banged up and he put 91 yards on us and a score. His back up is dinged as well so he will get the Lions share of carries.

My current team:

QB: Flacco (BAL)
RB: Rice (BAL)
RB: Sproles (NO)
WR: V. Cruz (NYG)
WR: Steve Smith (CAR)
TE: Gates (SD)
Flex: J. Gresham (CIN)
K: Bailey (DAL)
D: Ravens

On the bench:

QB: Roethlisburger,
RB: Helu,
WR: R. Moss,
RB: B. Pierce,
WR: J. Baldwin,
TE: H. Miller,
WR: James Jones

So my starting is pretty tight, except for flex. Gresham didn't do much against us in Week 1 but this week he's against Cleveland who didn't do so hot against tight ends, but Cleveland did keep the score down. I'm tempted to start James Jones because he's likely going to get the start since Jennings is doubtful. That looks good, but knowing how a Bears vs Packers game tends to play, it's going to be some rough football for both teams, though Chicago did give up a lot of passing yards last week. So I'm looking for another opinion, leave things as they are, or move Jones into the flex for this week?

Also debating if Moss will have another monster week though that depends on whether I feel Cruz is going to burn me again.

AJ Green for sure. It's tough to pick between Garcon and Lloyd. STL showed strong CB play last week against a high-powered offense, but Lloyd's targets are unpredictable given how many options are at Brady's disposal. Gut feeling says go with Garcon, he's the clear cut #1 there

Should I start Kenny Britt at all this week? You guys think he will make an impact? Reports say he's in for about 15-25 snaps. Locker is back too.
