Championship game in ER20's 16 player league. RB dilemna. I have 3 scrubs, but which scrub will do best? Ben Tate, Sammy Morris, or Toby Gerhart. I'm leaning towards Tate, but Sammy Morris could have all the carries if Felix cant go. Tough call for me.

Last minute advice request time. Championship game time and I need to start three of these WRs.

A.J. Green, Torrey Smith, Lance Moore, Antonio Brown, Laurent Robinson, Jeremy Maclin.

I figure A.J. Green is a given as long as he plays (he's probable)

I'm leaning heavily towards Torrey Smith because he'll be the #1 WR. I figure even if he catches only one pass, it's got a good shot of being a TD. I'm not overly confident because of how little the Ravens threw the ball last time around (though it was in bad weather.)

Any Saints WR always seems like a good bet, and Moore has been having some solid games recently.

Those are the three I have in my starting spots now.

Antonio Brown. No Ben means they're not going to throw nearly as much, he has the same upside as Torrey Smith, but he's with a backup QB.

Laurent Robinson: He's scored a TD a number of weeks in a row now, but he's questionable and in the late game and he's only had a limited number of catches since Austin got back, even if he's capitalized on them.

Jeremy Maclin: Just coming off a number of missed games due to injury, not sure how much I trust that.

So, thoughts? Agree/disagree with Green/Smith/Moore starting?

So what should I do with Aaron Rodgers and Calvin next week. I doubt they play. Should I sit them and play andy dalton and laurent robinson instead?

I feel kinda honored to be making the 1st post for this thread for 2012! Anyway:

Could you help me assess my situation at WR?

If you are the team on the right you are fine.

If you are the team on the left your starters are fine but you need to trade WRs for an RB. Try a combo of DeSean Jackson and Michael Floyd.

The team on the left looks fine to me.

First league I would start Torrey over Jackson. I too would try to trade for a RB. Let Desean have a huge week, then trade him.

Second league I'd move Kevin Smith to RB2 and start Decker at flex.

I've already put DeSean on the market. He's too unreliable. As for Decker, I'll wait to see how he interacts with Peyton and Demaryius.

Decker should be better. He will be Peyton's underneath WR who gets many catches. Thomas admitted he barely even ran routes last year. That is fine when Tebow is your QB but not with Peyton Manning.

Gotta sit one WR. Who should it be?

Robert Meachem (SD)
Nate Washington (TEN)
Demaryius Thomas (DEN)
[/quote]

This might sound crazy but I am going to say sit Meachem. For one they are starting a UDFA rookie at LT. I don't know how much time Rivers will have to look deep (that's about the extent of Meachem's game).

Now for why I wouldn't sit the other two guys:
Nate Washington - Titans are playing NE in week 1. So they'll most likely be playing catchup the entire game. No Kenny Britt, Nate is the vet and should get plenty of targets.
D Thomas - Steelers are good at stopping the run, so Thomas should get plenty of looks.

Here's some post-draft craziness:

I'm trying to figure out who deserves a roster spot. Michael Floyd vs Dennis Pitta.

The things I'm hearing out of the Cards camp aren't good. Floyd can't even seem to beat Early Doucet and Andre Roberts on the depth chart. Is that reason enough to replace him with Pitta?

Not a big fan of either of those guys for fantasy purposes. If I had to choose one, I'd stay with Floyd. But in all honesty, there must be a better option on the waiver than either of these two.

One more tidbit I forgot about this matchup. Don't forget that Ryan Clark won't be playing for the Steelers because of his Sickle Cell trait.

I'm starting A Brown no matter what... Over Mike Wallace & Jeremy Maclin.

But who do I start over him? Hakeem Nicks or Greg Jennings?

I'm leaning towards Greg at the moment. Nicks not practicing shouldn't bother me because it makes sense but it kinda does. I think Cruz has a bigger game going against Carr rather then Nicks vs Claiborne with a not fully healthy foot.

But I'm so excited about football tomorrow night, I really want to be able to watch Nicks put up points for me lol.

My Starters this week are:
QB: Cam Newton
RB: Matt Forte
RB: Jamaal Charles
WR: Wes Welker
WR: Victor Cruz
Flex:????
D: Ravens
K: David Akers

For flex, I'm either starting Torrey Smith, Steve Johnson, Eric Decker, or Maurice Jones-Drew (probably not him since I don't think he's starting for the first couple games)

Who should I start for flex?

Alex Smith away vs. the Packers, or Peyton Manning home vs. the steelers?

Manning no doubt.

Dang, I was leaning towards Smith because of all the wholes in that defense and I think it will be a shoot out. Now I'm leaning back towards Manning...
