Yeah that is a toughie... Gronkowski could have a huge day, or Hernandez could have a huge day and Gronk could be nonexistent. I too would go with Finley.
Ugh, figures I would've won this week had I started Gronk instead of Finley.

Yeah sorry bro. I started Finley too. Rodgers has too many guys to pass to...

Yeah, I hate Jordy Nelson with a passion haha. I have Jennings as well and he's always pretty solid.

Jennings is pretty much the only Packers receiver that consistently catches passes. One week Jordy has a big game, the next week Finley has a big game, and then James Jones has a big game. There are waay to many good receivers on that team...

Anyone else feel like they should sit Baltimore, the whole team, from their fantasy? lol
Well Flacco hasn't seen much playing time from me since I got Cam Newton.

However, this week I have to wonder if I should consider starting Flacco over Newton, but that depends on if the Lions of Weeks 1-5 or Lions of week 6-8 show up.

So I've had Brees as my qb with Flacco as a back-up all season with the intent to start flacco week 11 during NO's bye. Well today I went ahead ahead swapped him for Sanchez. I just got to thinking that coming off last weeks 5 touches, Baby Ray is going to see the ball a lot combined with Flacco never doing so well against Cin. All I had to choose from was Cutler or Sanchez, anyone else think this was an ok move? Also, Percy Harvin (OAK) or Deion Branch (KC) as WR2?

Well, what's done is done so I won't say anything.
As for your WR2, go with Harvin. He's got good chemistry with Ponder and Branch isn't doing anything anymore.

I can't believe I'm asking this, but Newton or Tebow? Newton's going up against the elite DET D, but Tebow faces the Jets, who are also pretty good, defensively. Newton's been cooling down while Tebow's been running wild.

That's a tough one. I remember seeing a stat saying that Tebow's scored 20 points in all but one of his starts a few weeks back. However, I just don't see Tebow exploding against the Jets. Rex Ryan literally wrote the book on stopping the option. This is a slight exaggeration, of course, as it was merely a chapter in his book. However, the point still stands. I wouldn't say that Cam has been cooling down though. He had a poor game last week, coming in at just under 12 points, but his numbers haven't dropped prior to his loss against Tennessee. In fact, he averaged nearly 30 points per his previous 2 contests. The Lions are ranked highly against the pass, although they don't have a CB on their roster capable of running with Steve Smith on every play. Both match-ups are tricky. I'd like to lean towards Cam, as he's still the 4th highest scoring QB in Fantasy land, and he's a much better throwing QB than his counterpart, while being equally as effective running the ball. As for Tebow, apart from the Lions game, he's done a solid job of giving the ball away, with only 5 turnovers during his first 2 years. To be honest, I can't really call who'll outproduce who. If Cam sees the same Lions defense that jumped on Tebow in Denver, he could certainly have some problems solving it. However, Tebow faces the task of taking a mainly one-dimensional offense up against a Rex Ryan defense.

I'd go with Newton over Tebow. Jets D is better than Detroit, and Cam at least has the ability to put up 250-300 yds per week along with the running upside.

The Saints are on a Bye so I need a Defense and looking at the Free Agency, I'm considering picking up Denver due to them being projected 12 points tonight against the Jets, other Defenses available are the Giants(vs Eagles), Jaguars(vs Browns), Browns(vs Jaguars), Titans(vs Falcons), Raiders(vs Vikings). Those are the defenses I feel that have the best matchups in Free Agency, should I pick up Denver before tonight's game or go a different direction?

Should I trade Frank Gore and Larry Fitz for Ray 'NEEDS MORE CARRIES' Rice??? And why am i getting a lot of trades for Gore because I feel like I don't know something that I should

Yes. Fitz is a beast even with Skelton. Ray will always get his. Even if he doesn't get as many carries as he should, he'll still score TDs. Gore's a little troublesome with his current health.

I drafted Rice and the inconsistency of Cam's play calling is really costing me here and I wouldn't think nothing will change until Cam is gone. Gore is having a great season and Fitz is doing alright. How is the rest of your team?

Need a WR 2

Laurent Robinson vs WAS
Victor Cruz vs PHI
Percy Harvin vs OAK

Who's the best start? Who's got the most upside?

Thanks.
Victor Cruz against the Eagles but is there any other WR in FA who has a better matchup?

What's wrong with Gore? I hate to admit I don't really look into my players as much because I'm in quite a few leagues

QB: Newton and Romo
RB: Fred Jax, Peterson, Gore, Benson, Helu
WR: Fitz, Jordy Nelson, Manningham, Harvin
TE: Pettigrew, Vernon Davis
K: Cundiff...
Def: Lions

Damn... you could get some value for Peterson or Gore. I see you could use a Upgrade at TE and WR, maybe you could trade Peterson or Gore for a WR and TE. Then again, how many RBs can you start a week, just 2? if it's just two, try to trade Peterson or Gore for a WR or TE who can help you the rest of the season.

I start 3, 2 in the RB spots and one in my flex but I'm not trading Peterson because it's a keeper league and I need someone I know will be solid year in year out. I figure since I'm 3-7 I cut my losses this season and and try to build for next year. I would keep Cam, Jackson, Peterson and Gore with my 4 keepers but if trade Gore for Rice I feel like I would have a better core to build around. Personally I wouldn't keep a WR or TE so I'm going week to week finding decent plays but with my record I'm not so sure it's working.

Gore had negative yards against the the Giants because of a foot injury; he only played in the 1st half. I wouldn't recomend going with the trade unless Gore's injury proves serious, as he's SF's almost exclusive offensive weapon. Plus, Fitz is doing great. Look to see if Michael Bush is still available.

Benjarvus Green-Ellis, or Maurice Morris? They're neck and neck in the yahoo projections right now. Carolina has given up the most points to RB's, KC is 5th in that category. Green-Ellis is also hurt, so I'm leaning towards Morris.

Also, Cundiff or Hanson? Knowing how the Bengals have played in the past, we could see a lot of field goals on Sunday. I don't think Detroit will have to kick so many against Carolina, but I could be wrong.

So I picked up HOU D/ST on the waiver wire this week to start playing match ups. HOU @ Jax or NYJ home against Buf? Also having a tough time figuring out my TE and Flex. Should I start Finley like I have all year vs DET or start Gronkowski vs PHI and put Sproles vs. NYG in the flex or run both TE's? If Fred jackson can't go on Sun, Sproles will be my RB2 and I'd start both TE's.

I like NYJ at BUF. Buffalo has been hitting the scrap heap lately. They only scored 3 points against Miami. Plus the Jets will be furious at home.

Gronkowski. He is outplaying Finley right now. Ride the hot TE in NE while you can. Plus PHI doesn't have the linebackers and safeties to stop Gronkowski. They might take away the WRs which would only help the Gronk more.

In all honesty I might just go with the two TEs over Sproles.

You don't think there's a bigger chance for the Bills to have a big day compared to the Jags? I think Gronks earned the starting spot and I almost trust sproles more than finley at this point even though sproles was no where to be found the last week they played. I still have to keep an eye on Freddie Jax.

Urghhhhhhhhhhhhh! The fantasy football gods arent looking out for me this year...first Peyton Manning, then Jamaal Charles and now Fred Jackson. Luckily, ive been able to get someone good to replace the other guys (Cam Newton for Manning, and Arian Foster for Charles), but idk who to pick up in replace of Jackson now. Some options below:

Michael Bush
DeMarco Murray
Marshawn Lynch
Reggie Bush

Or i could probably swing a trade for Beanie Wells.

Well F-Jax is out for the year. Bills are without Donald Jones as well. They are hurting. Jets are hungry. The decision is easy now.

I love your 4 team league. DeMarco Murray is all the man you need. Bush is a short term solution. McFadden will be back next week. Bush could flail at any moment. Lynch is also not a bad option. But Murray tops the list for me.
