I'm okay with this trade. You have your starting 3 cemented for WR and guys are always popping up at WR on the wire. So Decker is expendable. You are deep at RB and Wells is a sell high candidate. So from a roster standpoint you aren't losing to much.

Still rather have Stafford. The guy that has him has Brees, so its still possible. I'm still sort of dragging my feet on Newton. I still think that the more game film available to teams, means they can better key onto his tendencies. Plus Cam's upcoming schedule isn't the greatest. But if he can make adjustments and w/ his talents he can do it.

FYI, if you make a trade in Yahoo it usually takes a few days (which also drives me crazy) in most setups. The trade probably won't be official until after this weeks game. So Cam won't be much help in Week 3. Then he faces the Bears - Saints - Falcons

Well according to Yahoo's help page on FF trading for a standard rules league, once a trade is accepted it goes into a review phase which could be a maximum of two days. I doubt Yahoo allows any trade transactions to occur on Sunday.

So it is possible for the trade to be completed by Saturday, especially if everybody reviews it quickly. But from what I remember in the past, its always better to assume the trade will take longer.

damn your team looks good, you should try and trade for a top 5 qb. But fantasy wise i woul takee newton over freeman. Idk about Joe yet, but panthers will alway be passing because theyll always be losing. But having a rookie qb doesnt really help that situation because he'll throw picks. I think Cams worth Wells and Decker though because of the depth you have

Looks like the trade period is a full two days. So if you except the trade today. Friday would be Review day 1 and I'm assuming Saturday Review day 2. So I am unsure if they would process the trade on Sunday morning.

He does have a trade offer in for Matthew Stafford as well. The guy who owns him has Brees. So the opportunity is there, especially since Red is so deep w/ talent.

oh, and as far as the guy with drew brees he said his "fantasy advisor" claimed i was trying to rip him off with wells and freeman for stafford, which i didn't think so, i explained wells' matchups (NFC West x2, AFC N, and NFC E) that means favorable matchups against, seattle x2, sf x2, St Louis x2, Cincy, Cle, Philly, Was, and NYG.. not to mention the 2 teams they play that idk about.... and how beanie wells will get him points vs stafford who will always be on the bench for him, because of brees...

If he wasn't so low on depth @ rb i'd agree with his advisor, but when he's offered a good RB who is the ONLY rb on his team with that soft of a schedule, you take it.

I think i might take the newton trade, especially with Brandon Lloyd coming back... and the fact that I just picked him up out of FA yesterday

I would take Newton over both guys, and I'd take stafford over Newton, I'm skeptical of Newton, but the fact that he did that to GB's defense and one of the top 5 corners in the league, I feel more confident in him.. I have the same belief as PU that he could hit a wall when more tape is on him, Wells and Decker probably wouldn't start for me unless 2 of my RB's go on IR and its anothers bye. Decker unless one of my WR's took a major injury, or on their bye.. but lloyd is back so his value is gonna take a dip and i can get a good enough WR out of FA if i need to, or even trade for one down the line

Idk your league or nothing, but I would really try to get Stafford and somehow Calvin on your team. Maybe work a 3 way and trade 1 of your qbs, like 2 wrs, 2 rbs. It would be worth it to have them 2.

idk, i'm trying to pull stafford and my buddy wants stafford from me b/c he has johnson and burrelson if/when i get him. the asking price for calvin johnson would be way to high as the player with him has no obvious needs/glaring weaknesses
