Mike Tomlin Review The Ravens

Heres a video of a press conference from Mike Tomlin about their performance last week, and praises the Ravens defense.

Hmm, interesting but it's usual that the head coach praises our defense as they should

Mike Tomlin is a good coach, I've always liked him just a same that he went to the Steelers..

I was happy for Tomlin when he got hired by the Steelers, even though I knew his success would come at the Ravens' expense. His uncle was an ROTC instructor at my old high school and I'm still trying to score Super Bowl tickets...lol.

I dont like anybody that isnt a Baltimore Raven. Our defense has been getting praised alot recently. We got Chad Johnson to toot our horn.

Chad Johnson says some good stuff about our defense despite all the trash he talks. He knows our defense is the only one capable of shutting him out for the entire game. TJ is just a little kid though. Hes annoying and overconfident.

smells like blood in the water to me, he seems to be worried about our defense, and with good reason, parker is out and rashard is a fumble machine so far in the preseason. Could be a long day for Ben&Co.

LOL..He knows deep down that this isn't the Ravens they played last year and his team may be called the pretenders after Monday Night.

dam right this team aint no pretenders this seasons. They squeelers should be the ones because they beat sorry teams... but if it was us that faced those teams the analysts woulda said those teams were already struggling with problems from the start. The Steelers are the pretenders of this season.

I personally would have felt better if Tomlin would underestimate our D!

I dont want to bring the mood down now. But lets not be too effusive.

Everybody underestimates us, exept our opponent's coach.

He knows what his team is getting into! He knows how to adjust his team to our defense!

I know we have the best defense. But now I think everybody is underestimating them! Everybody, even the Steelers players, expect a huuge pass rush!
Every expert (except the steelers "experts") expects Ben to go down hard!

I mean... they know that they are going to hell. Its going to be a very hard game!!!

I dont care for TJ. He's a good player but he doesnt know when its time to just shut up. I dont think I have ever heard Chad talk smack about his opponant after a game win or lose. TJ talks smack after they lose. Wasnt it Paul Brown, the founder of the Begals that said "when you win say nothing, when you lose say even less"? TJ didnt get the memo.

Romeo Crennal knew it was coming to as did Marvin Lewis. The Bengals and Browns looked real prepared for it, didnt they?

So you're saying that Tomlin did not expect a lot of blitzes from Jim Johnson and the Eagles who have been known for heavy rotating at the DL and lots of blitzing ever since Johnson became their DC. Simply put every team we face KNOWS we blitz. Hell fans of opposing teams know that. Just because you know we blitz doesn't mean you always have the personnel to stop it...

Don't forget, he was the same idiot that was standing and laughing with the players during our huge embarrassment in Pittsburgh last year.
I had it on DVR and kept rewinding it. If you remember we could not get anything to go right and at times looked like an airing of The Three Stooges. Tomlin stood on the sideline laughing after our mistakes.

I also remember Ward taking Reed's head off.

I'm ready for some payback!

Our players laugh and joke on the sideline when they make a big play. What are they supposed to just stand on the sideline stone faced? No, when you are winning and you are winning big you live in that moment as long as you can. Tomlin's laughing had more to do with how well the Steelers performed then how the Ravens were performing. I guareentee if the shoe was on the other foot in that game, Billick would have been just as giddy as Tomlin was.

This year is a year we can go all the way if we keep running let flaco throw and learn so that he gets better with every game and the defense what should i say they are the best
