Our team does the one thing we been complaining about for years and then due to injuries drop the next game. How do some of us repay them? We don't give them credit for playing thru injuries and we question their decisions or even worst we try to act like we can get the job done.

Lets move onto the next game and focus on the future not the past. I know that once were healthy again we will return to form and be a contender. Don't forget were missing a starting guard, starting wide out, two starting defensive backs, as well as trying to get players involved that have not played in a while an or have very little experience.

Were going to be rocked by the waves throughout the course of this season will you steady this boat we call fan hood or will you jump ship? I know I will be here to the end because treasure island is the destination.

Good post.

You're right, the injuries did not help. Combined with coming off such an emotional game and facing a team that had nothing to lose kind of set us up for failure. Forget it and move on.

As you said, being a true fan means staying on the wagon for the whole ride, win or lose. The hope is that there will be reward at the end. All we can really ask for is that our Team plays hard and remains competitive.

Well done.

Losing is always tough to swallow but I'm still delighted by that week 1 win. Let's get this win in St.Louis and bring the pain at home against Rexy.

I agree that we need to look toward the future but people have the right to analyze and complain about the team they cheer for. It's all part of being a fan and joining forums like this. :)

I am not one to complain by nature. No-one really cares, and no-one really listens when you complain anyways. Especially when you offer nothing more meaningful than, soandso sucks, life sucks, ravens suck, blah blah blah. Yeah we get it, Ravens SUCKED last week. Ray Lewis said it best that if you understand the journey that you understand that ups and downs are part of the equation. Not his exact words I know, but I am going off my memory on a post game presser.

I feel it's better to try to provide a little constructive criticism, or urge someone to learn from their mistakes. But really who am I to really pass judgment on players, and staff in general? It's a game that's meant to be enjoyed and entertaining regardless of outcomes. I figure to root for "good football" in general and I feel this is more true now than ever before. Yet that being said I don't feel we played "good football" last week. Oh well, time to move on.

It is the axium of being a fan, when you are extremely passionate about a particular organization when they under perform you are going to be disappointed. And this being America this whole right to free speech thing means people can have a say on how their team is doing although there is no bearing on whether or not your suggestions will come to fruition.

And rousing debate is always fun.

I tend to agree with everyone, lets move on. However I can't help looking back at how the Ravens played last Sunday. It brought back memories of 2010. Let's be positive and believe the Ravens are moving forward with focus and better execution. Hope the injuries heal fast.

The sting of our favorite teams losing can bring out the worst in some fans. We look for every little thing to blame the coaches and players. The Titans game was brutal and there was not much positive to bring out of it other than no major injuries. The Titans are behind them and now it is on to St.Louis. I think a lot of us as fans worry about Pittsburgh TOO much...it is a huge rivalry but Cleveland and Cincinnati are in the division also but we do not treat them the same as the Steelers rivalry.Maybe once the Ravens win the divison and beat the Steelers in a playoff game we will be over that hump. There are some really good teams on this schedule to worry about other than the Steelers. Hopefully the Ravens can bounce back and catch the Rams coming off a short week..They could use the victory going into the Jets game.

Good post man.

I'll be here through to the end, I've never given up on our Ravens, even through the seasons when we had QB problems, fought through injuries, etc etc. I'll always be rooting for them, through the good times and the bad.

That wasn't intended to offend anyone more so to remind we have a great team an we will be a great team in the future. I remember Cam's only win as a head coach coming during one of our worst season but plenty of us weathered that storm. My point was we will have our good with the bad stop thinking doom and gloom an just be happy we have another season with the team we all love.

Good post. However, almost all of us on the boards are passionate about our team and want each and every single member of this organization to perform at their highest.

That said, we have to right to express our frustration when something doesn't go right. I know I get frustrated when our offense stagnates and adjustments seem to go nowhere.

I think we fans bring the best out of the Ravens cuz we will criticize when our team lose and celebrate when our team win.

In the end, we will jump on the ship with the Ravens organization no mater what.......

I like the first post of this thread, as the author of this post is telling what should be known to every person who follows this team. One should look forward to the season as it comes. We take this one day at a time, one game at a time, and as each play happens, we should be ready for it.

True, we don't know how each game will turn out, but one should have hope for the season as it goes along.

Put it this way.. every team needs a wake up call because after week one we were on top of the world. Every team has a bad week, but losing makes you humble and motivates you to play harder and really know that any given Sunday you can be beat. I think we needed that so we can learn to play hard like the way we played against the steelers every Sunday. No need to panic we are better than a lot of teams that get talked about more then we do. And another thing if you are a real ravens fan than stick up for your team instead of bashing them everytime something goes wrong or we loose. Your even in or your not.. so have more support for your team. Who ever thought we were gonna win every game is crazy. We can't win them all and we will lose again. Ride or die for your team.

You cannot really wonder about the fans reactions because of the different 2 week outcomes. Week 1 we beat the Steelers badly and most thought the titans would be quite easier and it was not. I was amazed and very angry myself. It was like watching a team without a goal in game 2.

It was like night and day to me. After week 1 i was thinking wow are we that good then looking at the schedule and thinking maybe 13-3 maybe 14-2. Then after week 2 i looked again and thought that 12-4 was the best we could do with luck on our side. It was very hard to accept.

I know i am just a fan but a lot of emotion goes into each game and all week long i bragged so much then come the next monday boy did i have to take a lot of crap. LMAO, i know it sounds silly to get upset at a game but i do get upset. My wife and kids ask why the yelling pop ?

I am sorry if i complain a lot but i just want to see the Ravens be the best as i see them. I think no matter what we always have a chance to go all the way.

All the real fans agree with you Perfekt. Its the reason I was MIA on these forums Sunday afternoon and all of Monday, to let some of the flotsam and jetsam that whine about everything time to clear out of here so we could resume intelligent discussion. None of us are happy with the way week 2 went and I'm not gonna lie, i am extremely discouraged by the '10 issues we saw cropping up in the Titans game, but its not the end of the season as some "fans" would have the rest of us believe. The team has learned from the last game and hopefully they are already rectifying issues the best they can for the Rams. Go Ravens!
