Is it time I pick up another RB? Currently I have Benjarvus Green-Ellis and LaDanian Tomlinson in my lineup, but I should probably add a backup as well.

Why can't you cut him? Is it because one of those stupid Yahoo/ESPN no cut lists? If so, they will probably free him up tommorrow.

Yup, stupid no-cut list on Yahoo. I talked to the head of my league and he said that he thought he had enabled IR spots, so if Yahoo doesn't update their list, then I can try to stick them there.

*laughs* Actually, my WR's need some serious help as well, there will probably be a purging this week. QB should be okay though if Matt Cassel doesn't pull his act together I'm going to find a replacement backup QB

ouch, not to judge but isn't sounding like a very good draft for you sir...... and honestly, i kind of think i will avoid any KC chief player for the rest of the year........ it seems like every1 is getting ACL injuries in their left knee... and we're only in week 2

Oh yeah, I got burned by my draft this year because I had the (dis)honor of being the one to pick dead last in the first round. While it was nice to get picks 10 and 11 at first, then I would have to wait through 18 picks before I would get to pick again, so lots of good RB and WR talent went off the board early.

It's really my 3rd WR where I got hurt, I managed to draft Jordy Nelson (GB), Mike Wallace (PIT), and Marques Colston (NO). Nelson and Wallace have been decent for me, but Colston got hurt. Had drafted Johnny Knox (CHI) and he burned me last week and I knew he was toast against NO this week, so I tried picking up Early Doucet (ARI) and that really was a mistake, so he's going to be gone.

QB I got Flacco, and as I mentioned, I have Cassel, who I'm considering dropping for someone else, just have to see what's out there.

TE I have Gonzalez (ATL) and Dickson (BAL) and I made the mistake of starting Dickson yesterday.

Unfortunately I also had the displeasure of going up against our #2 in week 1, which meant I was up against Rodgers, Boldin, Britt, and Hillis. Week 2 I was up against our #3 and the likes of Orton, Johnson (DET), Jennings, Austin, and Hightower. Going into week 3, I'm going up against Romo, Rice, Welker, B. Marshall, and M. Turner. I'd say I'm at risk of going 0-3 now :-/

I need to cut Charles as well, but I can. Our league is set up that way.

Who should I pick up? Options are: James Starks, Brandon Jacobs, C.J. Spiller, Darren Sproles, Pierre Thomas, Danny Woodhead ??

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

Easy one for me. Its Starks. He is slowly taking the role of lead back. He has shown no hesitation when hitting the hole, something that was an early complaint about him. If your in a ppr league Sproles might not be a bad choice.

Hmmm, Ben Tate might be a good pickup for me.
Well duh. He was a good pickup 3 weeks ago.

Roy Helu had a good game last week for the skins and was involved with the pass game. Felix Jones separated his shoulder so DeMarco Murray might not be bad. Daniel Thomas looked good for Miami. Dexter McCluster is a bit of a reach but in ppr he might not be bad

*laughs* Live and learn, I picked what was good in the draft, who knew Charles would get hurt and Tomlinson wouldn't do squat. Tate's on my waiver list now so I should have him by tonight unless someone else in the league starts something.

Actually, it's amazing how many folks have left some good talent sitting in the FA pool in my league. The commissioner and I chalk it up to a number of beginners, but also folks not carrying backups such as a backup QB, which is why I could have picked up Henne or Newton as my new backup (I went with Newton). The only backup I am not carrying right now is a K, but I can grab someone from the pool when Cundiff is on his bye week.

take another spot and drop your back up D, you can usually play the matchup with those as well... if you have a Bmore Pitt GB NYJ defense you'll obviously bench them on their bye week and pick up another one, but it would help having that extra RB or WR unless one goes down, and you don't have to compete on the waiver wire... or worse, contemplate a trade

I have the Saints as my backup D, I'd be insane to drop them because they'd be snatched up by the next day.

This is how it will look if my waivers go through now

QB: Joe Flacco, Cam Newton
RB: Benjarvus Green-Ellis, LaDanian Tomlinson, Ben Tate
WR: Mike Wallace, Jordy Nelson, Denarius Moore, Johnny Knox, Marques Colston, Torrey Smith
TE: Ed Dickson, Tony Gonzalez
K: Billy Cundiff
DEF: Ravens, Saints

So my thought is when week 5 comes around, I'll probably cut Smith (unless he has a monster week this week or next) and grab some K for that week. Dickson is also on the bubble and might be gone after this week if he turns in another crap performance.

I just checked, since I'm now 9 of 10 in the league, I get 2nd priority for waivers. The guy above me in waivers is an idiot when it comes to football and I'm sure he hasn't looked at the league today.

Starks, Thomas, Jacobs in that order. Unless you are PPR than SProles is higher.

You need to cut Torrey. I don't care how good a backup D is. You only need one.

Those are two spots that could increase depth and give you more choices on your starting lineup.

I didn't read through everyone's comments, but an easy choice would be Dexter McCluster, and throw him in as your 3rd receiver, because he has more guaranteed touches than any receiver in the league right now IMO
