The run D was great. 29 carries and just 2.55 yards per carry is great.

Ray Lewis has looked really good the 1st two games w/ 15 tackles (12 solo), 2 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception, and 2 pass deflections. 6 "splash" plays in two games is very good.

The whole front 7 looked good.
At stuffing the run. The pass rush from them was non-existent.

The rush D was good. The pass D was terrible. Same story as last year.

lee evans will be a monster when he and flacco build chemistry. i liked his receptions and flacco missed him on a couple open plays. dickson should be a future all star tight end if he keeps up his play. rice did all he could as mentioned. the line gave flacco protection but you must give credit when its due, their secondary did its job

i am actually re-watching the game right now and i notice a few "bright spots" from the 1st half:

1st...the main thing that is see (as i am watching the game over)...is the fact that Ray Rice's bigger runs came from an I-Formation showing a 2WR, 1TE and 1FB look. the WRs were either line up on opposite sides or both sides of the field. that SB (singleback) formation is okay to mix in every now and then but...our power running comes from the 2WR, 1TE and 1FB sets.

2nd...Ray Rice (as usual) is great out in the open field. we need to get him the ball more in open space (like that screen for a TD).

3rd...David Reed's 77 yard return before the half was just sweet! he will be a great return man in this league!

Cam called a very good game overall. Well done, again Cam.
I didn't think so. We should have come out with an aggressive offensive game plan. Instead it was the same old Cam from last year. Please enlighten me how he called a good game today? Seriously. I didn't see anything creative nor any adjustments at the half.

I still think Joe is better than a lot of midcard QBs. I still think we're better than the Steelers and the vast majority of 1-1 teams, even a few 2-0 teams.

Our heads were in the clouds this week. We'll be refocused and ready to dominate in St. Louis.

My bad. I meant the front 7 looked stout against the run. I should have clarified.

The pass rush was nonexistent.

I don't know. I didn't see many positives.

Flacco showed some good elusiveness to keep plays alive while running for his life all day.
Rice is as always, Rice.
Run D had a good showing.

That's it. All I've got.

I was at work, so I didn't see much. But Suggs looked like a man possessed. The Run D looked amazing. Rice looked good. Flacco looked Roethelesberger-esque. Wow, that doesn't even look like English. Haha.

Cam called another good game.

Not much else.

Not at all. To what were you referring to? Let me elaborate.

Suggs and the D did a great job at containing CJ. I saw him in on a lot of tackles.

Flacco didn't do a great job passing, but he was running for his life, like Roethelesberger. He looked like Ben evading pressure. I'll say, when Flacco wasn't getting killed by his OL, he looked solid.

I really don't even feel like getting into anymore Cam debates...last year was enough to last a lifetime with me. I just pop in to say good job or you suck each week...I saw him use Boldin, Rice and Dickson to near perfection today. I saw poor execution too, that would have been huge plays had we not screwed up. I saw a good defense make some outstanding plays the entire game against our offense.
I also saw Cam a little more conservative than I would have liked to have seen later in the game. I saw a few calls that have me scratching my head.

All in all, I was pleased. I don't feel like justifying my opinions on him anymore (no offense to anyone), it's just how I feel he did.

Rest assured, I'll be in front of the lynch mob when he screws up.

I want to know where people are getting the idea that the Ravens TEAM's 'heads were in the clouds' or 'they came back down to earth'. As far as I know, Monday morning they were back in the Castle, getting ready for the Titans. The only people on cloud nine (understandably) were the fans.

If that was a hurry up offense, then why was the play clock going down to 3-4 seconds alot. Please ,we had no hurry up going on.I was yelling at the tv I was so mad at how much time we were taking.
Do the Ravens even have a hurry-up/2-minute/quick-strike offense that isn't predicated on Rice breaking 50 tackles and running 30-40 yards? I know they had a pretty amazing one last year @ Heinz with a minute left that won the game with a Flacco to Housh TD, but anything else? Sometimes I really hate how indiscriminately "methodically" this offense is run. Sometimes speeding up the tempo on offense can really loosen up a defense, but the Ravens never seem to do it unless they have absolutely no choice. And by "no choice", it'd obviously have to be a worse situation than being down by 2 scores on the road with 12 min left in the 4th... I bet there were a lot of broken tvs in Baltimore today.

Was honestly curious, not really meant for you to justify your opinion. I saw the one good drive where he used Dickson and Boldin well. Rice, not so much. Thought he ran left way too much. I'd concede that one drive.

Aside from that I'd have to disagree but it's all good.

Practice Squad actually

He'd also make a nice Yoda-style backpack for Kenny Britt. I literally laughed out loud when Britt almost casually walked in front of Foxworth for that TD. Talk about a mismatch. At least Frank Walker would've hit Britt upside the head hard enough to prevent that catch and made the Titans try to punch it in from the 1.

Oh wait, bright side: ST played pretty good.

What I am curious about is how ANYONE could possibly justify 4th and goal, seven minutes left in the game, us trailing by 13 points and kicking a field goal?!?!?!? How does 3 points do us any good? Were we worried about losing by too much? I do not get it. A TD was the only possibility of us having any chance of winning that game. A small one but the only chance.

Besides that puzzler, we played poorly over all, but it isn't the end of the world. I was surprised that we would lose to such a mediocre team. Any given Sunday I guess.

I'm still scratching my head about that one man. That was a bad call by Harbs. Guess Cundiff is on Harbs' fantasy team. haha.

We held the most explosive playmaker in the NFL to 2.2 Yards a Carry.

Um, Cundiff was 2 for 2?

True, although they did give up that key TD on fourth down to Javon Ringer. Not an impressive performance overall from them.

I thought the same last night but after thinking about it, that was the right call. At the time, we were down by 13, needing 2 TDs to win. Kicking the FG only put us down by 10. A TD and a FG are easier to get when time is essential b/c you don't have to get the ball in the endzone 2 times. You just have to get w/in FG range for a chance to tie.

Hard to pick brights out of a crap game like that but let's see...

Flacco avoided sacks and pressure, throwing it away a few times instead of forcing something
Rice is still just as good, when the OL can create some lanes
McKinnie and Oher did okay, the interior was the problem IMO
Run-D was great, Ray was flowing from sideline to sideline again
Haloti was still dominating the trenches
Suggs is still a monster
Zbikowski made a few nice plays in run-D
Ed Reed was physical once again
ST is good, although Koch botched a few routine punts for him (yes, he has a high standard)

Some things to work on, most definitely.

IMO his 2 picks were forced throws. Lee Evans and Dickson were both blanketed on those interceptions.

Perhaps. On the Dickson tipped-INT, I don't think he saw Finnegan underneath or thought he had him turned the other way. I just meant he didn't force anything on those particular throws.
