Also pretty sure Hasselbeck is a (far) better QB right now than Bradford. And Hasselbeck, like Peyton Manning, has had pretty nice success against the Ravens D in the past. I thought Hasselbeck was done, but at least for one week, he obviously wasn't. I'll eat a terrible towel if Bradford plays anything close to Hasselbeck, which he'll need to, to beat the Ravens IMO.
I would buy a terrible towel then, Hasselbeck is old and washed up, and Bradford lit it up last year, and again I think he could have a big day against our secondary, I mean all he has to do is throw to whatever receiver Fox is on.

Although Joe is going to audible and tell cam to sit in the corner and shred this team.

I think we match up much better against the Rams than we do against the Titans. Looking forward to the MNF game to scope the Rams a lil bit.

This is the biggest problem I saw. Hasselbeck negated the pass-rush by doing short drops and quick throws and our corners were no where to be found. Actually, they were usually trailing Kenny Britt...

I have a bitter taste in my mouth from the Titans game but crushing Sam Bradford would make me feel a whole lot better.
Williams was with him most of the time but Britt made some really good catches with tight coverage.
Foxworth was always 5 or so yards away.

Right now I don't think we match up against anyone very well. It will be a tough game next week-everyone knows the way to beat the Ravens is to pressure Joe. Flacco is not going to magically change-if he has to have an achilles heel not being able to handle pressure would be a little bit better than being blind I guess.

Well we can expect the Rams to run the no huddle on us most of the game. That might b a problem. We better prepare for that.
Far be it for the Ravens to run the no huddle I bet I know why too- Flacco can't handle the pressure of trying to keep it organized.I am still gagging on the Flacco quote-"I'm pretty damn good" Can anyone fill me in on what he may have been referring to?

There are a lot of things you don't seem to know about Flacco's game. He (and the offense) run better under a fast pace. Joe has done noticeably better in a hurry up offense throughout his career so far.

What is he refering to? 33-17 career regular season record, 4-3 postseason record, 70-36 TD-INT ratio, TDs and yardage increasing every year, INTs generally going down, pocket awareness getting better before our very eyes, making reads faster....many things.

If you think I'm making this up, you need to guess again.

and when is it we run the no huddle exactly? Are you serious ? Joe folds up like a lawn chair under pressure-we must be talking about two different quarterbacks. I've seen the one that's awesome when he has time to plant flowers while looking for open receivers, I'm talking about the Joe Flacco that runs in circles when he's under extreme pressure and then fumbles, throws INTs, or generally looks kinda laughable. Heres my take on his "pretty damn good" remark. He is pretty damn good as long as he has 5 to 6 seconds in the pocket with a nice cluster of offensive linemen around him to protect him from anyone gettin in his face. Otherwise he's pretty damn good at-holding the ball too long, staring down his receivers and having happy feet. He does all of those things damn good for sure!

I'm not saying we run it a lot, but ask other Ravens fans on here, and they'll mostly tell you that Flacco is better when the offense goes hurry up. When Joe is under pressure, he generally scrambles around for a while, and then throws the ball away. He FUMBLES????? When has Joe fumbled while running around, lookng for an open man? He throws interceptions? Yeah, if you want to base it off of yesterdays game alone. But for the most part, and I mean the vast majority of the time, he throws the ball away or checks it down to Rice.

Hey, I am not one to mince words about this team when they play badly. As they did Sunday. Your obvious disdain for Flacco though has you completely biased. Welcome to ignore.

Is there another quarterback named Joe Flacco who made that remark? I don't know how to respond to this, its simply not true. Its like trying to argue with Fox News.

The rams also had no steven jackson and the worst wr core in the nfl. Not to mention no decent tight ends.

Sam bradford did throw for 300+ with a ton of dropped catches

From what I noticed last night their d is a little soft, run and pass but they play cover 2 a lot and I expect we will be seeing a lot of that. The key will be to get pressure on Bradford and not let him get in rhythm, danirio Alexander, sims-walker and kendricks are the only receivers he has. Stephen Jackson or not we cant let them run on us. Their line is alright, the giants were getting good penetration and were getting a lot of hits on Bradford. I just wish Jimmy wasn't hurt

I saw what you saw for the most part.

Their overall team lacked fire last night. Sort of like us on Sunday. Caddy Williams is no threat at this stage in his career. So if S-Jax can't go we can focus on bringing blitzes and pass coverage. Their O-Line can be had. We need to get pressure on Bradford.

Defense might be a bit tricky for us. Very good masked coverage. James L seemed to get all over the field. But with the talent we have, we should be able to move the ball (one would hope).

I'm not exactly sure what the stat was, but Bradford was abysmal when under pressure. I think we need to go back to the week 1 approach and really dial up the blitzes. We may get burned once or twice, but Bradford is still young and struggles with the pressure. I don't think we will have any issues stuffing their running game.

On offense, I am a bit concerned with how we approach this game. The Rams front 4 is pretty strong and will probably get some pressure if Grubbs isn't back. IMO we need to pound the rock and use our TEs effectively. Rams aren't that physical of a team and I think we can wear their defense down.

So the Rams play cover 2? I guess we're looking at 1-2. I say we beat the Jets, so 2-2 before the bye.

I like how you think we'll beat the Jets but lose to the Rams.

We are a completely different team at home. And the Jets are a familiar opponent.
