Need Rb Help-Stuck With Scraps

12 posts in this topic

While i wouldn't call them scraps, i have trouble picking 3 to go with(2 RB and 1 RB/WR). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling it's going to be a game of playing "what defense are they up against" to help determine each week.

Here we go, need 2 from this group
DeAngelo Williams
Tim Hightower
Joseph Addai
Fred Jackson

and then one more from the following (including the 2RBs not picked above/ These are my bench WR's)
Lee Evans
Malcom Floyd
A.J. Green

Tim Hightower & Freddie Jackson. Both don't sound obvious but they are. Cards will focus more on stopping the pass in this game which should allow Hightower some open room. Plus he is playing against the team that traded him! Revenge game. Freddie is the clear back in Buf. He will get 20+ touches.

Yuck on those three. I'm going with Floyd. I'm expected a SD-NE shootout.

I don't have to use a WR in that third spot.

If i go with F. Jackson and Hightower, i can still use Addai or Williams as the third.

So i guess, between Williams or Addai, who would you go with?

Thanks by the way :)

I would go with Addai, i highly doubt that the Packers will allow Williams to run on them. And the way the colts game went last week, Addai should get some carries, plus they play the browns.

I think I have to agree. I think the Colts rely more upon the run game to take the pressure off Collins. They aren't playing a high power O like the Texans so they shouldn't fall behind very early and be forced to pass. Benson found some running room on Sunday. Addai will get some chunks of yards and a few catches.

Think I would prefer him over Floyd. Floyd its touchdown or bust. Its so hard to predict. Same with Evans its looking like. (Disclaimer: now that I've said that. Floyd and Evans will have beastly games).

Hightower, Jackson, and Williams.

I'd go with this lineup as well. Addai is always a risk. He probably wont get any Redzone touches, and Colts are just bad. I think GB can be run on, but thats just my opinion.

I believe the Colts came out today and said Delone Carter will be getting goal line carries. That is a huge blow to Addai's ceiling.

I really think Delone will be starting by season's end. I picked him up on waivers to watch it play out.

Jamaal Charles
Darren McFadden
Legarrette Blount
Beanie Wells
Brandon Jacobs
Delone Carter

Can't wait til December haha

I tend to agree. Its only a matter of time Addai hits the ground and doesn't come back up. And Brown is officially labeled a BUST. I like Carter. I see him sitting on the waiver wire on one league, but I can't fit him into my roster right yet.

Tim Hightower is not going to be a scrub this year. I think he should be an every week starter considering how much the Skins run and how Shanahan runs the ball.
