As we get a kick out of thinking that you all own us just because the overall record was 6-0 your way with Rottensburger playing in the past 6 games..... well, guess what?? Those games were won by a combined points total of 19 points. Yes I said 19...so thats not owning.... but this past game?? Well, we only won by 28. Thats not a shellacking at all.... oh wait, its more than that. Its a total beatdown.

And yes, we're happy after all the grief we took this whole offseason, including crap commentary from the likes of Woodley & Hampton as well as pundit after pundit questioning us and our QB. You'd be happy too if you were in our shoes.

And as I quoted before in another thread, After a lopsided win (or loss as the case may be) like this one was, Bill Cowher used to say to his Steelers teams "You're not as bad as they say you are - and you're not as good as you think you are". Truer words were never spoken.
And as one of your own members, Bltravens wrote in the "Statement to Steelers" thread,

"I think too many people are getting ahead of themselves here. The Steelers aren't going to go away even though we spanked them. This isn't a weakly built organization. Ya'll would be foolish to think that after Wk 1 things have already changed. I dont know about the rest of you but Id rather not talk until we've beat them in the playoffs and frankly would rather not even have to see them in the playoffs. Wk 1 is one thing, the playoffs are a different animal."

Then why are you berating us with snarky sarcasm and arrogance? We did earn it, so we have the right to request for as many replays as we want. We won, so we have the right to enjoy it as much as we want without humbled Steelers fans trying to rain on our parade. Trying to focus on the next opponent and the next game is for the players and coaches. As fans, we will bask in this victory as much as we please, just like you guys did when you won against us.

I feel you! And this is the NFLs biggest rivalry. People do want to see this. Even if it is a blowout, its a blow out of the defending AFC champs and wildcard.
