We Are Two Games In People

24 posts in this topic

It is going to be a very long season with some tough tough competition.

We have two wins, and there is infact every possibility that is all we end up with.

Though I doubt it.

I am excited too but lets not get ahead of our selves...

with the way I see our team. I can predict games to be wins already depending on what we do to the Steelers.
Heres how Ill look at all the games to come if we beat the Steelers

Raiders - W
Dolphins - W
Texans - W
Bengals - W
Browns - W
Redskins - W

All the other ones are up for grabs "depending on how we do against the steelers."

Seriously!! This is what we couldn't do last year and now our defense looks like its 2006 form, I'm lovin this.. the fans are fired up, the coaches are fired up, and most importantly the PLAYERS are fired up. Why SHOULDN'T we get ahead of our selves.

I kinda think players get their inspiration from the fans in a way. We cheer for them and stay behind em it might help al little. So Im going to say.....

WE ARE GOING TO DEMOLISH THE SQUEELERS.........

Man...enjoy it!
Don't just sit on your hands worrying about what ifs. We smacked the crap out of 2 divisional rivals.
After watching the wretched team we had last year, I for one am living the high horse.
Sure we may (will) lose. But the team I have been screaming my *ss off for the past two games looks a lot better than what we had on the field last year.
This is 2 years of pent up enthusiasm here. And if you guys don't already see something special in Flacco...you're in denial. :P

Im also not bragging like I did two years ago. Last year was humbling.

Also Im glad we have what is shaping up to be an elite o-line and nobody knows it...

Forget that im going crazy that were 2-0 heading into week 4 man... No matter if the teams we played suck their our division rivals... Look at the giants and cinncy they almost lost and thats the super bowl champs versus a bad team... MNF is going to be a crazy and scary game cause steelers are a hard time i hate them as much as i hate boston sport teams (from new york) but their scary. but we have a 50% chance of going 3-0 and then peoples head will start turning and thinking the baltimore ravens are the surprise team of 08

hey i'm pretty excited because i think we could beat anybody because our defense, lets see and put up some thoughts:

- the pats a record setting team on offense with the mighty brady, beat us the last year because of the referees
- we beat the the steelers with a better offensive line that the crap they have actually.
- a good and bruising running game, it doesn't matter if we win ugly, a win is a win.
- if you could beat the pats and belli cheat you could beat anybody.
- indy had a the worst offensive line in the league, it doesn't reflect on the stats but ask payton. he didn't let to be sacked.
- dallas is the biggest challenge and for the week 17 we could be a playoff team or be out of the picture, so really
we could beat anybody on our calendar so lets have the hope. the hope is the last thing you lose.

The AFC division leaders are Buffalo, Baltimore, Tennessee, and Denver. Who'd a thought. The Ravens are 2-0 in the Division with a rookie HC and QB so how can you not be excited. I'm not getting ahead of myself because win or loose I'm going to enjoy watching football this year. (preferably win)

YOU START GETTING EXCITED!!

Oh I am not saying dont get excited.
Man I am way stoked my self !!!!!

I am just aprehensive about using words and phrases like "Playoff's", "Super Bowl", and "Undefeated"
I have seen the first two mentioned here already. I dont know if any on expects us to go undefeated for the season, but I am sure not going to make that claim.

I just remember this team last year. Just a hair away from beating the then undefeated New England Patriots. But loosing misserably to the winless Miami Dolphins.

Any given Sunday....

Barring Injury we look like the 06 Ravens. It just goes to prove that we was right for the fact that we lost so many games last year because of the Injury bug. Remember even in 06 we won alot of close games, we had decent to good QB play with little to some mistakes on offense, and a great defense. It looks alot like a repeat with a even better offense, Def in the play calling area. Flacco is looking solid, even with his 2 big mistakes in the Browns game. and i believe on of them was only part his fault, A better throw from the RB to Him and He would have mason Wide open in the end zone, But he looked up late and the browns DB caught up to mason by the time the ball got there. I have high hopes, but we and Esp the Ravens cant get ahead of themselves. But with a veterern defense and a young and soilid offense we look like were good to go.

Being happy about back-to-back dominating performances is acceptable. I don't think anyone is saying the "S" word around here, but crushing two DIVISION opponents is something to get excited about, in my opinion. The Steelers, in their house, will be a good test for us, and even if we lose, it won't be that surprising considering we have a rookie QB and a young O-line, AND we have stunk on the road and in Monday Night games...

The Eagles O-line gave up one sack against Stinksburg, while the Steelers gave up 8 on the eagles. Flacco has only taken 1 sack in 2 games, So I think we will be at the 1-2 sacks given up mark on Monday. One other good thing is Flacco has been playing pretty well and keeps Himself calm when under pressure, Hopefully He will continue this Monday, because He's gonna need it.

yah ive noticed that in our last 2 games that flacco is very well calm under pressure and most of the time makes a play out of it either a scramble or he dumps it off to willis or mclain for a mediam to big gain

Hey, I like this analysis. What do we really have to lose? I mean c'mon a rookie qb from Delaware and a special teams coach from the Eagles.
I mean geesh...THAT beat the mighty Steelers????? B)

Something else you guys need to think about, how about our decisiveness in going for it on fourth down last Sunday? That was AWESOME! No calling time out, no substituting wasting time, just step up to the line and BAM! I loved!
We also had running backs that were busting some guys up when we needed to score. How about our special teams??!!!! Yes, Baltimore Ravens= special teams.

I'm not looking for a Super Bowl win...well not this year at least. ;)
