Good article by Mike Silver I just read about Ray at halftime on Sunday.

"It's 21-7," Suggs said, referring to the halftime score against the Pittsburgh Steelers , their AFC North rivals, constant tormentors and 2010 postseason vanquishers. "Well, you know, that's the same score as …"

Before Suggs could finish, he was cut off by future Hall of Fame middle linebacker Ray Lewis (notes) , the Ravens' unquestioned leader, and the best defensive player of his era.

The elephant was about to get its enormous butt kicked.

"[Expletive] that!" Lewis screamed. "That was last year. Last year was last year. This is the 2011 Ravens. We don't care about the past. Let's play."

Ray Lewis is a monster... From that same article
Most telling of all was the way Pagano, and his players, reacted to the one gut-check moment that occurred on Sunday. Four-and-a-half minutes into the second quarter, on third-and-goal from the 11, Roethlisberger connected with Emmanuel Sanders (notes) on a scoring pass that completed a 78-yard drive, cut Baltimore's lead to 14-7 and had everyone in the stadium wondering if the Ravens were about to blow another lead.

As Suggs is aware, "In these games we always play good and tough against them, but they always find some way to make a play, get back in it and get us in the end."

Following Roethlisberger's touchdown, Suggs and his defensive teammates returned to the bench area to find their new coordinator pummeling himself for his passivity.

"It was the one time he questioned himself all day," Suggs said of Pagano. "He called coverage instead of pressure, and when we came to the sidelines he said, 'You know what, guys? [Expletive] me. This one's on me. I'm not doing that anymore. I'm gonna go after him.'
Lots of profanity but that was Pagano's only mistake of the day, so glad he didn't do it again. Down with the 3-man rush especially in the redzone.

Nope.... Best man available, not a name, not a position, in ozzie we trust, if Lil Ray is the best man on the board he will get selected, if not... well it was not meant to be
You really think Ray Lewis' son wont be the best player available?

Trade 3 First rounders for Patrick WIllis and we might have someone who can fill in for ray when he retires. Like JO, no one can replace him and when Him and Reed retire, Ravens are in for some rough years ahead.

Just like we had some rough years after JO retired.

Wow, I hope that's true about the article. I swear, every time I see a 3-man in the red zone it ALWAYS goes for a TD. Ever since I started paying close attention to it last year. That includes the non-Ravens games I've watched.

Man i'm not sure he's worth 3 first rounders. Maybe 2 first rounders and Jameel McClain.

Sure, you can't replace someone like Lewis, Reed, Ogden etc, but we've built a better offense without Ogden and won a Superbowl without Reed. Losing Ray will be huge but it wont break us, this is already Flaccos team and Suggs is more than ready to take over when Ray decides it's time.

I don't know if he will be, the apple may not fall far from the tree, but it still falls away...

you cannot make a pick based on a name, There have been loads of sons, brothers, cousins, ect.... who have been lacking... all I am saying is "In ozzie we trust"

Total animal right? Like Ray DGAF's everything, he controls every situation he's in I love it. I can just see him exploding in the locker room and getting everyone fired right back up to go out after half.
