Certainly can't over look this game, as it is easy for good teams to fall into a trap game after playing like they did in such an emotional win last week. However, we should have no problem defeating this team. Chris Johnson is a hell of a back and 2k yards is incredible, but I don't know if I have ever seen CJ top 100 yards against a good defense. In 09 he lit it up against bad defenses, last year more of the same. We should be able to contain him and focus on shutting down Britt with good pressure from our D line. That will be more than enough to get out of Tenn with a W.

Loooooot of confidence on this thread. I do agree though, if CJ gets shutdown, which he probably will because he's not looking too good at the moment, we should have this game locked and loaded...

I have to say, though, I have a really weird feeling going into this game. I don't know why

I am a Baltimore transplant out here in Tennessee. About 20 minutes northeast of downtown Nashville. I can tell you these guys are worried about us coming in after this last game. If we play in the box more, CJ cant get started and I highly doubt Hasselback can handle the pressure. the O-line is going to have trouble with players flying at them from everywhere. Hasselback does nto move well and if he is sitting in the pocket, it will be a long day for that guy. He may wish he stayed back in Seattle. As for the Titan O, Britt is the biggest weapon and I'll take any of our corners with a safety shade to stop the guy. Will be at the game going crazy. I can tell you these guys do not like us any more than the Steelers. The last two times they had legitimate shots at a Super Bowl we came into their house and pulled out the rug from under them. The hatred is there because of that, but they simply do not have the talent to beat us.

I don't know about that. They play in Pittsburg this week. The Steelers will be looking to get the bad taste out of their mouths. haha

It's going to be interesting to see how other teams go after Pitt, because I think we laid out a bit of a blueprint.

Rice/Williams should have an awesome day. The Titans let the Jags put up 163 yds or something on them.
Maurice Jones-Drew is no slouch though. I'd say he's a little better than Ray Rice, but very close.

I have to disagree only on the fact of Ray's versatility, I mean so is Mojo but he can't do waht Ray can out of the backfield.

Wasn't implying Jones-Drew wasn't any good, just that the Titans don't seem to have much to stop the run.

Actually the Pats have done it numerous times, and GB did it in the SB last year

The blueprint is out there so to speak but I don't think the Seahawks can do it I'm afraid. 1, The entire Steelers team needs to make a statement after last week. 2, I wouldn't have any faith in Tarvaris Jackson to get it done against an angry Steeler defense.

I have 2 concerns. Britt and CJ. And my bigger concern is Britt. CJ can be contained, and with the way our defense has been hitting, he's gonna wear down quick. I've noticed that the more times he gets hit, he gets really bad. We'll have no problem with that.

I can't wait for this game, the next game, and the game after that! I am really excited about this season and I feel we have a very, very special team this year. I thought this last year but I feel really good about this year.

With that said, the Titans have a few problems in order to beat us.

We have some homicidal DLinemen and they're playing like they are out for blood.
We have some of the hardest-hitting linebackers out there. I like the ferocity Ellerbe hits with, and Pollard hits just as hard as a safety. I don't need to mention 52.

As for Britt, well, I like our secondary very much. Reed & Williams can shut him down together.

I just can't wait for this game. I feel something special about our team. I think we may be the real deal.

I'm not too concerned w/ Britt. You have to think our D now has the luxury of practicing with our new offensive weapons (i.e. Lee Evans). So the Def now has the ability to game plan and practice against a speedy receiver.

Yeah, that's true now that I think about it. It seemed to me that we had a quicker speed to our game too, a higher tempo. Joe very rarely took anything more than a 3-5 step drop and that ball was gone. I think that really helped big time.

I was browsing the Titan's message boards and it kinda amused me how much Titans fans HATE the Ravens. I completely understand why, but it is so... onesided.

Yeah, we used to be division rivals, and they also think we intentionally tried to hurt CJ... hatred is to be expected.

That's because in recent years we've gotten the best of them. It use to be a better rivalry when we were in the same division. But since then they've claimed we stole their chances at Super Bowls with some key wins.

Hell they left their superbowl on the 1 yard line about 12 years ago...

Every game makes me nervous - especially this one right after the huge emotional blow out of the Steelers! Hope the coaching staff is keeping the team on its feet and not letting them get too giddy about crushing the Steelers! Man I still cannot get over that total domination... I go watch the Steelers players whine on their website and get a kick out of it... to their credit they broke down the game pretty well in one of their post game programs... very interesting to watch too... only because they lost of course!

One thing i have to add to this. We went 12-4 last year and tied with Pittsburgh for first yet they won the division. We lost in week 2 to a pretty bad Cincinnati team in a game we were supposed to win. In week 2 this year, we are playing a fairly bad tennessee team. We cannot overlook any team we play. My biggest issue with the ravens is it just seems like we never can blow out a team. Yes we blew out Pittsburgh but look at all the games against mediocre teams in which we should win by at least a touchdown in the past couple years. The bills and cincinnati are prime examples that we sometimes struggle against these teams. If we stay focused and play to our potential we wont have many teams to worry about this year.

Went to the Titans board, none of them really expect them to win haha

Glad to see that they won't be too let down when we put a beat down on them.

What makes you think the Titans is a fairly bad team, especially after one week? Hasselback ain't bad, CJ is one of the top RBs in the league, many would argue the best, Brit is a good WR and they have a decen O-line over there. Also, their D is aight too.

Micheal Roos is one of the most underrated left tackles in the league. Really solid in run blocking. I think everybody saw this team lose to the Jags the first week and its an automatic win. They are a better team than people think. I still think we should beat them no doubt. But this is not a bad team.

Ya their right tackle is quite good as well. I think they have a fairly decent O-Line and look at what the Jags did in the offseason, they added so many playmakers to their defense. Plus they have MJD.
