Congratulations To Suggs!

The new all-time sack leader of the Ravens! A hard fought, but well earned accomplishment. I love this guy because he always shows up big in the big games. Steelers, Patriots, playoffs... you name it!

Here's to another couple of sacks in the re-match in Pittsburgh!

I was going to make a Ravens highlight video... but I think it would just be easier to play back this entire game! :o)

Sizzle is REDHOT right now.2 forced fumbled, 3 sacks! Pags moved him around a good bit too. Some nice stunts and good blitz disguise.

Was only a matter of time but extra sweet that it happened Week 1 against the Steelers. 70.5 is a great number and he's not even 29 yet.

Was the last sack of the game accredited to Suggs?

Yes it was. I thought he might have shared it with whoever it was that was in there as well, but he got all of it.

I offer my congrats to Terrell Suggs for becoming the leader in sacks today - three sacks is a perfect way to start the season, and what a season it should be!

Congrats. He always comes to play against the Steelers. Hopefully this rockets him into the 4th dimension for the rest of the year.

Sure did. Boulware retired after the 2005 season, Suggs was drafted before the 2003 season.

still I remember Peter had knee injuries and his career was cut short...i know he tried playing one year and really couldnt..i just wish they could have played together longer..Boulware on one end and Suggs on the other...

Yes, he punched the ball out and that's automatically a sack + forced fumble. He doesn't even have to make any contact with the QB and he'd still get the sack.

Great accomplishment however. 28 years old and he's already the all time sack leader, he just hit his prime! He was outstanding already last season, now he's about to become the best pass rusher in the league. And who knows. Only 19 more sacks, then he's got the NFL record (set by Strahan). I love how you can rely on him to crank his game up a few notches when we play the Steelers or the Patriots or in the playoffs. He was a monster today. I genuinely believe he or Reed could be DPOY this year (even though it's so early)

Yes indeed. The only thing better than his sacks was his quote after the game.

"Ben is a great quarterback. God can have his soul, but his *butt* belongs to me."

*Took the expletive out but you can figure it out. =)

Suggs on pace for 48 sacks this season!

Also, Reed on pace for 32 INT's!

And the Ravens are on pace for causing 112 turnovers this year. And the Steelers are on pace for having 112 turnovers this year. Which one is sweeter?

Flacco - 48 TD's and 0 picks (ridiculous little game we're playing here, but its fun nonetheless!)

I think that playing against Jake Delhomme might be enough to put Reed on pace for 40 or even 48 picks this season.

I'm really excited for Ray Rice's 1712 rushing yards and 672 receiving yards. Should be fun to see.
