Sorry but I had to make this thread, after all he said about Joe Flacco, most of it uneducated especially about how Joe doesnt put in any extra work, cant play well...blah blah blah

Some redemption for Joe....quiet down all those haters, can he win against the Steelers with Ben ?

Uhh yes he can

Very well put friend. Dukes is a clueless tool who likes to hear himself talk. I cannot wait to see what the NFL Network has to say about the game. Surely they will find a lot of negatives against us.

He's just a complete idiot. The next notable player that retires is gonna take his spot, the NFLN is just dying for an excuse to replace this bumbling idiot.

here here, complete domination, he looked fearless today, he is ready for the season and wants it bad
[/quote]
How cheap is Sportsnet for hiring this guy to be their NFL analyst though eh? The NFL Network must not let them hire anyone else.

Strahan picked us to be AFC champs (lose to GB in the SB) but how can anyone pick against GB at this points. Props to Michael as well.

It was nearly unanimous a bunch of fools who look at last years standings and play a zero sum game.

All I heard from them is "Without Heap they can not win" "Without Mason they can not win" "Flacco can not beat the squealers" " Ray Lewis is slowing down" "The secondary is awful"

Oh yeah those were quotes from "fans" as well....

Funny, Dukes said he LIKED Flacco after the game.....Hahahah. He's a blowhard.

My favorite was watching Cower trip over his chin.

Anyone that knows football knows we had the slowest WR's in the league last year coupled with an awful line 2 of Joe;s 3 years. Its amazing what only 1 sack does to happy feet and locking in on receivers.

Joe's never really had 'happy feet'...not really to me, when I think happy feet I think Kyle Boller, Joe has always been cool in the pocket since his rookie year it was night and day between him and other QBs we've had...

He's done a nice job of looking at the whole field, you could see it today on a few plays....he's improved in a few areas, pocket awareness being one of them

Casserly did a nice analasys of the improvement in Flacco's mechanics...Flacco looked much better this week than the last time we saw him, he looked much better than Boller the day he walked on the field the first time...

Flacco has some dominant strengths even at the NFL level. If you protect him, he will protect the ball and get large chunks of yardage. Fun to watch, and I think it's a pretty good strategy in today's NFL if you have the QB to do it. He's got massive potential written all over him, just look at that YPA.

I'm excited, week 1 and the OL plays that well? Man, if you protect the QB like that he is going to have a good day, Joe could be on his way to having another career year
