We owned Ben and the steelers today. + 7 in the turnover department . We just announced to the world that we are the team to beat in the AFC North, and if I were the Steelers should be very worried.

The Steelers scored as many turnovers as they scored points. Good job. That has to be one of the most all-time embarrassing stat lines.

Joe Flacco can't beat Ben Roethli...Oh, WAIT!

Quarterbacks don't play quarterbacks, but atleast we'll never hear that again. Ed Reed beat Ben like a red-headed step-child today, though.

Edit: Sorry, our DEFENSE beat Ben like a red-headed step-child.

I can still see the steelers players as they stood on the sidelines in disbelief. I know we will be hearing crickets from the other side of the fence now. If we shut them down like that again later this season we will really be on top and be able to brag.

To all the doubters out there, I know that this was only one game but I hope you enjoy that crow dinner you'll be eating tonight! The first of many!

I am so happy this one is squashed. So many negative things said over the past month have been squashed. It feels like the chains have been taken off.

A win was important but a win like this sends a clear and concise message. The ravens are for real and turned loose.

I honestly don't know where the next criticism of the team will come from. They can't say we don't beat the Steelers (if they were going to be pedantic they could nitpick about it being reg. season not post season) they can't say Flacco isn't a big game QB as he just roasted PIT's D.

I would like to think we're going to have a pretty big bandwagon after this.

Almost every facet of the game we have dominated. Steelers were in to a point of extreme frustration, and it showed when even troy was up for a fist fight. We embarassed a great team, No..we THROUGHLY spanked them! Man I hope our Ravens can keep this kind of mentality and preperation, because today was an absolute beauty to watch. Cant wait for next time we meet them on their turf!

Our team pulled a page out of Big Ben's book against the steelers and we didn't use a bathroom stall...

If that's all they have to complain about then it's good with me.

I'm happy about the win, but my excitement level isn't as high as most. The reason being is because I fully expected this.

Now I'll admit that I had the score 31-13 and didn't see the defense forcing 7 turnovers. However I fully expected the offense to have great success in this game.

I couldn't explain it, I just had that feeling.

Great start but it'll be all for not if we don't go out and handle the Titans like we should.

Where are all the Debbie downers?

What a great start. Flacco looked great out there, like I always knew he would if he got protection. Roethlisberger had a terrible game, the kind of game that most would never let Flacco get away with. The Ravens were everywhere, Pagano never let up the way Mattison used to.

Their moods go with the tides. Now its Super Bowl, Ed Reed DPOY and Flacco MVP.

Honestly, I'm kind of worried about next week because it seemed like our Run D wasn't as sharp as it usually is and we face CJ2K next week. It doesn't look like the Titans are a juggernaut this year, but I think we could have some troubles. Overall, easy W next week in Nashville.

Weird...you're concerned about an "easy win' :)

Nah, just kind of worried. Just him and Britt and then their secondary is alright, but that's about it.

I know.....was just playing in the fact that you said two things normally not said in the same sentence.  Being worried about an "easy win"

I will say that I hope that both Williams and Smith are ready to go next week. Foxworth was nowhere in coverage while he was in there.

We did more than win today, we sent a message. I loved how the announcers kept saying and Harbaugh said, no matter what you see Sunday, we will only get better from there. Can't wait for better! Oh My! :)

I haven't had the chance to rewatch the game and break everything down, so my views are still from that emotional standpoint of just being happy with the win.

However, I don't think our run D is much of an concern. I think the speed of the Steelers WRs effected our run defense. They ran a lot of misdirection and because of the threat of play action, the front 7 really couldn't fly to the ball like we wanted in the first half.

I don't think the Titans will be able to pass the ball down field even a little bit.

So I expect our focus next week to he on CJ and hope our offense continues to put points on the board early, that'll help take CJ out of the game.

After I re-watch the game I'll be able to breakdown the run defense a lot better, but I think once we got comfortable with our DBs handling their WRs, our run defense improved.

McKinney will probably be active next week and Ngata, Cody, Redding Jones and Mcphee will only get better, which is scary.

Did anyone noticed if Art Jones got any snaps today? And ya we just gotta put Cary on Kenny Britt and then we should be good. Kenny Britt is a good receiver though, you gotta give him some respect, but other than that they have nothing and Hasselback is over the hill. Or at least riding his bike down it and fast.

Yea actually both Jones and McPhee played really well today. They both made their mistakes but considering who we played and the magnitude of this game those young guys held up well.

Also props to Kurger. But big props to JJ for absolutely destroying Hines Ward on the Ed Reed int.

I'm surprised that hit isn't plastered all over this board by now.
