So many short fields for us. Plus everything else was working. He'll have his games.

Lee Evans opened up so much for other guys with his speed, Flacco and Evans will get it worked out...not worried about it, just really happy right now

Yup, didn't show up on the statline but he made a difference - ask the Steelers.

Boldin was on fire today, too, besides a drop and an OPI he did what he was brought here to do - be physical.

That's what made today's game even better on reflection. Evans, along with the other deep threat, Torrey, didn't record any catches, but the offense performed well and the offense won big.

On another note, is there going to be a topic about every player on the team?

Ike Taylor was consistently on Evans. They showed respect for him as a deep threat which is what opened up everything else.

His pressence on the field gave us a new dimension on offense. As the season progresses he'll get his, the other receivers stepped up and now will warrant more attention. Oh yeah, let's not forget Ray Rice, sure ain't gonna hurt him either.

Ya it looks like the steelers game plan was to shut down Lee Evans and don't let Flacco throw the deep ball. Didn't work out so well for them though.

Best no-catch game a WR could have. He and Joe haven't quite figured out their timing, but that will come in time. He did his job and opened up everything for Dickson, Pitta, Boldin, Rice, etc.

Evans will get more receptions simply because he's going to be a big part of this offense, him not catching a ball will be a 1 time thing, im sure he'll get in the game next week..and Reed back will be good for our offense too..
