Thank You Cam Cameron

I just wanted to say Cam called an absolutely amazing game! It was evident from the first drive. We came at Pitt hard and never let off.

I love how everyone was incorporated and helped to the ultimate goal-Victory

thank you OL

Thank you to the Front Office (even though many thought Oz lost his touch) for improving the O-Line. Cam can do so much more if he has some time and the O-line doesn't need additional assistance.

Yeah, I appreciate that he remained aggressive until there was absolutely no way a comeback was possible. None of that playing it safe crap coming out of the half.

Called a great game, and more importantly the execution was superb.

Good job Cam.

Our aggressive style combined with player makers stepping up is what won us this game. We need to keep the motor hot and running all season long and I really think we will go far.

Even though this thread is much shorter then it should be, props to all of you guys who bashed Cam at every turn, but now giving him props when warranted.

I've said all along that Cam was just like Joe. Give those guys the pieces they need on offense, then sit back and enjoy greatness.

It's only one game and we haven't even stracthed the surface of how good this offense will be.

Get ready guys.

Will the Cam Cameron haters please stand up?

I told y'all, just give him the pieces. Speed, and an OL. He got it, and we dominated.

It's gonna be a different season for him I think. Seriously, us on the 7 yard line, early in the game, and we go 5-wide? LOL LOVE IT!!

I know what the title of this thread says, but I thnk Pagano deserves one hell of a thank you as well, the D really showed up today... no more 3 man rushes and Little Jen sitting back and having a coffee befor the pressure arrives.

For this game I will say I liked the play calling. Mixture of run and pass kept them off balance. And the underneath passes to the TEs really caught them off guard.

I hope we can continue this type of play consistently.
The way we ran the ball today was amazing, 100+ yd rusher and 50+ yd rusher in game against a top notch run defense.

Pagano actually did get his own topic, if you were wondering.

Oh yeah. 170 rush yards against Pittsburgh?!?! 400 total yards?! That is unheard of.

On a semi-related sidenote, I started Flacco in my fantasy league. Good call, huh?

Never thought I'd see the day, but looks like you finally cracked. Are you at least neutral towards Cam now?

Sorry, just a screenshot of my FF game today... started Flacco, Rice, Boldin, Dickson, Cundiff and Ravens Defense...needless to say I got a lot of flak for it; honestly I didn't expect it to work out so well either

I've always given Cam credit when he does well. Just doesn't happen often enough for my taste.

But I've also stated a few times that I thought this season Cam would surprise a lot of people, myself included.

I think its because Cam has a job to keep so he is going to go agressive and be creative. I love that he tried for the end Zone with Boldin even when we were up by 28 near the end of the game.

Ya I liked how he used the TE's today, although I would have liked to have seen an "easy" completion to Lee Evans just to get that first grab out of the way, so he doesn't have to go through this week without having any catches. Otherwise he did a pretty great job though.

Wow, that's a lot of points. Normally you wouldn't want so many players in the same game, right?

Cam did a great job this today, but it all goes back to the same thing as last season for me. Player execution.

This oline opened up running lanes for Ray and gave Joe plenty of time. Funny how there isn't one negative comment about sending Boldin deep. But I won't pick at people.

I just think when players execute like they did today, play calling becomes easier.

Joe had time to go through all his read and did a great job of reading that Steelers defense.

The play action worked because we got great push in the running game. Last the Dickson TD probably doesn't happen, because of poor protection.

Cam and this offense will do huge things this year.

Normally, no...my favorite strategy is using the same team's QB and RB when they have a favorable matchup, especially if the RB is a good recieving back -- you're guaranteed to get credited for every offensive TD that offense scores (other than a backup or goalline back vulturing a TD).

But it worked out this time..ended up winning 146 - 70. My opponent had a rough week; an average week you'll score 80 -110 points

Cam Cam stepped up today. That seat got a little cooler. Can't have a let-down next week in Tennessee.
yeah we must take care of business next week or else this game wont mean as much, like Joe said..im sure the Steelers will rebound against the Seahawks..we got to take care of our business
