Webb had 11 tackles today, but was only ok in coverage. So I'm pumped to have webb in the nickel. He's perfect for it

The secondary did a great job without him tho..I think Jimmy will be good, but man Cary Williams! he is stepping up big time

Depends. If its a high ankle sprain could be a couple games. If it isn't too bad he can play. We'll have to see if he practices Wed or Thurs.

Depends how severe it is. Could be gone in a few days could linger for a few weeks. We'll know in time.

ankle sprains are usually bothersome. he will have to play through pain or give it a couple weeks to heal

Cary missed on that touchdown, but I think we were in zone and that wasn't his zone to be in. He was our best corner today though, and Williams played quite well today.

I guess NFL teams make stupid decisions all the time in that regard. Rookie skill players, especially on D, play special teams.

Both Jimmy and Chris Carr leave game with injuries, this is why we need Foxworth and all the depth at CB we can get...two guys go down and we are 5 deep with quality players at CB

Carr has a thigh injury...whatever that means

Webb did well today, just wish he would not play so far off of the receiver and press them like Smith does. Smith will have a great luxury in a slow introduction and i do not think he needed to be thrown into the middle of that game today. Next year he will be the starter along side williams, what a pair huh.

ST I think on the opening kickoff. It was right at the start of the game.

With the titans and rams coming up and the CB depth they'll take it slow on him to ensure hes fully ready. Jimmy needs get a good feel for the game and today could have given him a boost in terms of big game atmosphere in the nfl. He'll be back in no time. Cary and webb handled business today

So far it sounds encouraging that he's had a negative x-ray and that they played it safe and didn't risk him back in this game. It's also a good indicator that we've got a load of guys capable of stepping up if need be.

Well it definitely will depend on the severity of the injury, I should have included that. I agree with you on the DB depth, we have a lot of talent there.

I don't think we'll need him until we play houston after the bye. Tennessee, St.louis and NY jets don't have really significant receiving cores.

The schedule should help us.

They were probably playing it safe with Jimmy. We didn't really need him by the time x-ray results came back.
Lardarius looked good, very physical. I'm hoping it's 1. Smith 2. Williams 3. Webb 4. Foxworth/Carr
