Sorry Wardy but I'm going to enjoy watching Steelers Nation whine and squirm for a while. I am going to enjoy that the superiority complex you guys have has gotten taken down a few pegs. The Steelers got blown out...flat out embarrassed.

Great statement by the Ravens here in all phases. I had serious concerns about our readiness in Week 1. Needless to say, those concerns were put to rest.

Well yeah there are lasting implications but at the end of the day I still expect the the Steelers to lose little other ground and there are still 15 more games for us to have to win.

I might have slightly underplayed how momentous this is for us, but it's just a great start which we have to build on to make it count.

[b]QB[/b]-A+ .This is the Joe Flacco I've been waiting for. Patience, Poise, and purpose. Yeah the offensive line had something to do with it but he is becoming a smarter player.

[b]WR[/b]-B+ .Boldin had an awesome game but I can't give the WR group an A when Lee Evans didn't register a catch on any of his targets. Which is fine because we won!

[b]TE[/b]-A .Pitta looked good, Dickson looked GREAT! Great way to open up the middle of the field. Anyone else slip and say "Heaappp" when Pitta caught the ball?

[b]OL[/b]-A . Steelers front 7 is usually an elite group but wow, our offensive line looked good. 1 sack is nothing. McKinnie did get that holding call and Birk looked like Hampton's play toy but going forward, this Offensive line (with depth included mind you) will help Joe and Ray have an amazing year.

[b]RB[/b]-A+. How bout that Vonta Leach signing? Loved it! He and McKinnie helped spring him into the secondary for that 30 yard run. If he can do that on the Steelers I don't even wanna know what he can do against the Titans or Rams! Ray broke 100 yards rushing and caught some key first down/touchdown passes. And he made Polamalu go from classy guy to sore loser in 2.2 seconds. Loved it.

[b]DL[/b]-A+++. For this im going to put the Rush LB role in here. How about our 4 pass rushers? Did Haloti and Sizzle have a wager on who would have the best game against the steelers because it seemed like a constant competition to one up each other. Ozzie, Give him the moon! He deserves it. Great game by those 2 and I liked what I saw with Cody starting. He looked pretty good against Pouncey. Redding looked good as well and Why is McPhee always involved somehow with a fumble? Great reputation to have lol

[b]LB[/b]- B+. Wasn't overly impressed with anyone not named Ray Lewis but I will give a shout out to JJ for that hit on Hines. If I was rating putting dirty players with dirty grins on their butts you would be getting a new letter to the alphabet that comes before A. Ayanbedjo and McClain did alright but nothing stood out really.

[b]Reed- [/b]A+. 2 picks, 6 tackles and wasn't afraid to knock someones cleats off. Very happy to see him return to form after coming off PuP last year. He looked great!

[b]SS-[/b] C. Missed tackles, horrible angles and overrall not as happy with Zbi and Pollard as I should be. C is average, which they demonstrated yesterday.

[b]CB-[/b] B+ . Cary Williams and Lardarius Webb had great games. Wish we got to see Jimmy out there. I know its hindsight but do you really need to put your starting rookie CB on special teams after he has had groin injuries in training camp? Foxworth and Carr looked the same as they always have and I cant wait to get Jimmy back so that these atrocious corners don't ever see action in 3 WR sets again. They just don't play like Ravens. They always look scared to hit, they aren't aggressive or physical, they play too far off the ball and don't have the speed to make the play like Webb does. Webb and Cary can play far off the ball (even though they did play a good amount of press) because they have the speed and tackling mechanics that they can stop a guy. Ugh So sick of Carr and Fox.

[b]Overall,[/b] pleased with the whole freakin' team. Relentless defense, Limitless offense. Joe took the next step. He beat Big Ben, he outperformed Matt Ryan and he led his team. Eat your hearts out Associated Press.

Flacco, you are taking the steps to being an elite QB and I will say I am sorry I doubted you. What you showed yesterday afternoon was all new to me. Patience and total command of that offense. Glad Cam took you off your leash.

I loved looking at Ward on the side line without that stupid grin on his face priceless, and Troy on two plays his face and one shoulder was the only thing touching the playing field, just sliding after missed tackles laughed my butt off.

now...we need to build on this momentum and win as many of the next games (prior to week 9 vs steelers) that we can! we need to concentrate on winning the Division, the AFC Championship and heading to the Superbowl! week 1 was just one step towards our goals!

I'm hoping that he improves and it is still his injury holding him back but I seem to remember screaming at him in '09 for doing the same thing. Start Webb/Cary and Carr in nickel. Keep Foxworth off the field.

Can't speak for all of them, only myself. And I mean one game as in in the entire season. If this was your 5th in a row, I'd be even more impressed myself. Just sharing some advice about not getting too high and the "one game" comment was directed at another comment specifically.

I agree but I think Britt will probably be doubled for most of the game. If we smother him and CJ then the Titans offense will at least struggle.

I hear people saying if we don't beat the Steelers in the playoffs, this win means nothing which is so true but......... what makes you think the Steelers will be there? If I'm not mistaken, their LT Colon is out for the season and their O-line is a mess right now, plus considering the fact that their last last 2 SBs, the following season they missed the playoffs..
