Statement To Steelers

Dear NFL,
We're here. We're gonna hit hard. We're gonna run the ball down your throat. We're gonna destroy you in the air. If you start moving the ball we are going to take it away from you. You will be outcoached, out played, and just plain beaten down. We're here, and we're not gonna stop until we've won the Big One.
Sincerely,
The Baltimore Ravens

Statement. Game. The Ravens now own the North and we aren't giving it up. What an absolutely dominating performance, just incredible.

Now, if we can play every game like this. Lets look ahead into the next few weeks
Week 2. Titans
Week 3. Rams
Week 4. Jets
Week 6. Texans.
Good to know that we will be 5-0 for the first half.
Pitsburgh, this game was just a warning. You will die.

As much as we just destroyed them every which way, it is a regular season game. If we lose to them in the playoffs then this won't mean anything.

Having said that, it looks like we'll take some beating this year if we can match that performance. The only negative that springs to mind is that Jimmy Smith got injured.

Edit* I laughed hard at the steelers suck chant on my TV!

If I can find a good clip of it I'm setting that as my new ringtone.

hello everyone. im new on here, but love the ravens. They played a flawless game today, and made the steelers eat every word they talked against the ravens, letter by letter lol.

Our team can only get better too. Whereas the Steelers can only get older. I am stoked right now. No more "can Flacco beat Ben" articles, movies, threads, podcasts etc.

After you defeat your nemesis, the sky is the limit. Next week it is the Titans... If the Ravens show up with half this intensity, the Titans will be 0 and 2

Looking forward to the next one. Might not be so easy, Flacco might have to win it in the fourth quarter. But, I am confident that we can win it.

The only notable teams we play are the Jets, Texans, Steelers (again) and the Colts. So I think our 2 toughest games left in the regular season will be against the Jets and Texans.
I think it's way to premature to assume that we'll easily beat both of those teams. The Texans looked great today and the Jets are a very good team as well. I think the Jets are the team to beat in the AFC.

Jets are overatted, have two good linebackers, two good DB's and a good OL and WR in Santonio Holmes (Mason is out of his pime, Buress Stinks) As for the Texans, they would have lost if Manning was playing

Of course we should not be toooo high... but a victory over the previouse years conference champs that defeated us in the playoffs and seemed to be a thorn in our sides, might elicit a small amount of euphoria....

enjoy the feeling and the speculation for the same amount of time the players are allowed to... 24 hours....

Teatans are next

Man what are you saying? The Jets entire D is great and their Receivers are very good, OL is very good and they have a solid RB and QB who is a good game manager. As for the Texans they didn't even have Arian Foster in the lineup and still absolutely dismantled the Colts. They are a very good team as well.

I'm not say we can't beat them, but I'm just saying that I expect that those will be very hard fought games and if we are to lose any games this year that and the other Steelers game are easily the 3 most likely losses. Now unless you think we'll go 15-1, I can't see how you can easily assume that we'll lose at least 1 of those games.

Ben Roethlisberger is 9-3 in his career against the Ravens.

His three losses was by the scores 27- 0 ,31-7 and 35-7... lol. When it rains, it pours... lol.

Man you are CRAZY if you think we arent going to ride this victory until November 6th.
We just beat the Pittsburgh freaking steelers, and not just by a little bit either.
We beat the team with more SB wins than any body, we beat our division rival who holds a significant lead in our over all match ups. We beat the team that took us out of the playoffs. We beat one of the best teams in the NFL. And we beat them well. no referees, no controversial plays or calls. We won. Legit. Fair and square.

No way man. no freaking way. This victory is to huge too not revel in.
No way.
