The Return Of Heeeeeeeeeeeeeap?

7 posts in this topic

Granted Heap dropped another wide open pass during the game, after his catch and run that I believe set up one of our TDs, where he threw the Cleveland DB to the ground, I knew Heap was FINALLY back to normal. He looked like a man on a mission and I can't wait to see him continue to get better and better and more in the game-plan as the weeks go on.... your thoughts on the reemergence of HEEEEEEEEEEEEAP:

When he starts catching EVERYTHING again (after all, that's what he was known for) I'll say he's back. He caught 2 passes and dropped yet another. These guys get paid BIG BUCKS to catch the ball. That is their job. He has dropped the ball as much as he's caught it. That's inexcusable at this level.

It was a breathe of fresh air to see Heap catch a few balls and make some plays. On that same play he got knocked down and faked the D to pull coverage off of him and got up and made a great stiff arm running down the field. He does look like he is trying to make up for the bad plays he has made so far and you can really tell he is hungry.

Heap is one of our most game-breaking play makers out there on the football field, yea he has had his fair share of mishaps right about now but after not practicing throughout training camp, not really participating in any of the pre-season games, of course eveyone should be a little rusty, noone is as critical as the players are themselves so when people start speculating "Heap is gone" or "Heap is back!" no, he never left, he's still out there training and going through the works in order to try and make his team and offense that much better. When heap dropped those passes, noone in this world felt as bad or has horrible as Heap did...especially after those dropped passes in our first game.

Rest Assure that Heap will continue to work hard and continue to get better as the season goes on, to think that Heap...the Ravens all-time leading reciever, wont get back to making those types of plays that he's made a name for himself for...then im so so sorry but your sadly mistaken. With Heap in the line-up doesnt matter how much he is thrown to or how little he is thrown to, the fact of the matter is that, whenever Heap is out there on the field, the opposition has to account for him being out there, Heap being the playmaker that he is, the opposition needs to know where he is at all times because if they dont, then he will make you pay, more often than not. Heck even if he is covered he still has the dangerous potential of breaking one loose. so just sit back and relax people, Heap will continue to get better, dont you worry.

According to the press conference about his injury its going to be at least 2 weeks would would mean that he won't be able to play in the Steelers game at this point.
