Nah, edreedfromtheu will hold that title, even though he is a Ravens fan ( I think).

I still think he's secretly Troy Smith.

Yes winning week one would be big for you guys but I really don't think it means you are world champs just yet. So you might want to wait a little longer than after beating the Steelers just once.
[/quote]

Okay, we'll wait until we beat you in your house then. Still won't make us SB champs but will more than likely get us the Division title and a home playoff game. Diminish this game if you like, but a win here puts the losing team already behind the 8 ball in the division.

I'm not diminishing anything, I'd say the same thing to Steeler fans who think we'll be champs because we beat you guys week one. I was downplaying that guys post because of the ferocity that he was claiming he'd rub it in the Steelers face. And all I was claiming is that no player in the NFL would put so much into one game unless it was the Super Bowl.

They are saying Mckinnie is too tall to go against James Harrison. Well the last time he played, Mckinnie got him good.

No different this time. They said our corners suck too!. Dwayne Bowe is better than Wallace, and Bowe's receptions were lucky, we have a good chance

Huh? Harrison had 7 tackles and 2 sacks!

McKinnie is a pro, so Harrison wasn't gonna manhandle him everytime, of course there might be a pancake or 2 in there. But come on, please don't use the word lucky so freely.

Unless the ball bounced off 3 defenders helmets and into Bowes hands then you can use luck, otherwise it was one team executing and the other not.

Wow, I can't believe its finally game day!

Thats how everything is. Thats why I get upse when people are so rough on the coaches. They can call the best plays ever, but if the team doesnt execute, its not the coaches fault.

I guess this is why the NFL Network didn't really give that much coverage to the game when doing highlights. The Bears/Falcons game was titled "Falcons Conquer Bears" it ended 12 - 30. The Ravens 35-7 beating of the Steelers was titled "Ravens Steelers" and they showed only 2 plays.

Ray Rice touchdown reception (no mention at all of Flacco or his awesome TD to start the game) and an Ed Reed interception. That's it.

Depends on when you watched NFLN today. I saw extensive highlights, even them joking and saying "Reed's open, Reed's open" (him being the only open receiver) when Ben threw the picks.

I guess so. I was watching in the break between the 3pmCT games and the SNF game. I was waiting and waiting for them to get to the Ravens/Steelers game thinking that it would be as much a parade as what they did for the Bears/Falcons, but was very disappointed. In any case, I did hear from someone else that they did another segment later on with more highlights and coverage, even talked about Flacco, and then that Flacco said some really great things.

Really, we give them most of the reason we dont get the respect we think we deserve because a portion of us Raven fans whine ALOT.And Im not a troll big time fan here but I read the forums and Baltimore we whine alot.

I watched NFLN after the Cowboy/Jets game and they had plenty to say about the Ravens trouncing the Steelers. Like a poster above said, they made jokes about Reed, Prime said 'SUGAH!', a lot and they gave praise to the team in general. Deion has always had a soft spot for the Ravens.

Yup and on "lets go primetime" pretty much the whole ravens defence got on the top ten list. However, I would love to know how Sanchez got on the list and Flacco did not. Sanchez, if I'm not mistaken, had 2 td's, 1 INT, and a fumble. Flacco had 3 tds' and no fumbles or Int's. How did Sanchez have a better game???

Cause he's so "clutch" in the 4th. I have NEVER seen such luck in the 4th for a QB in this many games (last year and last night).

So can we just go ahead and say that those ahem..."experts" look like a bunch of fools. Along with all the steeler's fans who said we were getting destroyed...Which is funny because out of all the steeler's fans on this board I can only label one as a fool, no name dropping though. Draw your own conclusion's.

The jets as a whole but not really Sanchez. He didn't block the punt, force the fumble or pick off Romo.

Hence my distaste for him and the luck he sees week in, week out...
