NFL Network Experts Say Ravens "can't win"

According to the NFL network's "expert panel" we have already lost. They said our defense is "long in the tooth" and the Steelers passing attack is way too good.

They also said that the Steelers are the "stars" of the AFC north.......hummmm.

Wow, considering nobody has played a full game since they lost to the Packers last year, I think these guys are a bit "long in the tooth" for believing the Ravens plan to roll over Sunday.

What are they going to say after we win?

Yea i ve been seeing it too, they are in for a very Rude Awaking . I really hope they feel dumb for saying it. But what will make me really mad is if they jump on the Bandwagon when the RAVENS start kicking butt. But of course you know they will make excuse saying we have a weak schedule, even thought i think our schedule is tougher now after the changes made in the off season on the opposing teams.

I can't argue with them saying the Steelers are the "stars" of the AFC north [i]for now[/i] as we have yet to beat them when it counts. Sure, we'd been close, but we're certainly not above them yet until we can defeat them consistently.

Well, we all know how that ended. Plus the Steelers are coming off a Superbowl choke...no way they have the confidence they used to have...I think the Ravens have a great shot of winning week 1.

Of course we CAN win. The Steelers might have the better chance of winning, but it's not 90%. More like 60%. It's not like they're playing the Panthers or something, our defense holds them down pretty well.

Yes winning week one would be big for you guys but I really don't think it means you are world champs just yet. So you might want to wait a little longer than after beating the Steelers just once.

Brian Baldinger acknowledged that the [i]team[/i] and not just Flacco has to beat the Steelers with Roethlisburger. He also said that if Flacco continues his upward trend that this could be the year.

Absolutely correct. I don't know anyone here taking this game for granted. I love this matchup. Best rivalry in sports! Thank God these 2 great teams still play the game the way it's supposed to be played, pure smashmouth.
