Keith Traylor?!?!

The 37 (soon to be 38) year-old fatty

and Kris Jenkins isn't what he used to be

I suggest putting Kelly Gregg on there, somewhere....

Carolina was 11th in Run-D in terms of yards per game

Besides, they have one of, if not the best, DLs in the league

Peppers, Rucker, Kemo....

That lineup alone could stop anyone, Jenkins is just a side-player

i meant yards per carry

yeah Peppers,Rucker,Kemo is great but Jenkins is a huge reason

but you still have to factor in his 27 missed games over the past 3 seasons

In 2005, he missed 15 games:

The Panthers were #5 in Run-D ypc

In 2004, he missed 12 games:

Carolina was #12 in Run-D ypc

I think it's more of the Panthers defense schemes than Jenkins' ability.

OK so i guess that d-line can stop anybody...cause dan morgan's been out and those LBs certainly arent that good

I have to say that I think that Jamal Williams is #1 by a large measure. The guy is an absolute monster, the sort of guy you need to make the 3-4 work. He made SD's linebackers look better than they were last year, by regularily beating double blocks. He's just insane. Really, Williams is the key to that entire D.

Pat Williams is #1 because minny has the #1 run d by alot

the Casey Hampton....then Jamal Williams

How much of that is due to the fact that Minn's pass defense was autrocious and some teams just decided to pass early and pass often.

they led yards per carry by alot also so they were number 1 for sure

also there was a pretty good run defense in buffalo when pat williams was there

No Kelly Gregg?? :o

I can see that. Gregg is workmanlike, tough and will make plays, but he's not the kind of guy who dominates linemen and eats up a double block on every play.

Well, I think Gregg has more upside than either of those guys, but yeah, he's not quite top 10.
