2011 Maryland Terrapins Football

Good way to start the season but definitely have some things to tighten up.

That was my first university of maryland football game I've ever been to and it was a great experience. O'brien is a stud of a kid. Our special teams and offensive and defensive line was overmatched the entire game. But in the end the better qb won.

Also, it was funny seeing some of the Miami fans and Maryland fans yell at each other. The Miami fans kept holding up the "U" sign with their fingers everytime something good happened. And all the fans kept yelling at each other, "No UUUU suck, No UUU suck" while holding their fingers in the "U" sign at each other. Such a civilized society

ESPN is really hating on the Uni's especially Wilbon...They look a lot better than Oregon's or Hawaii's.

Yeah I also saw LeBron Lames pitched in on the whole Uniform thing tweeting something like "Oh Gosh Maryland uniforms are ugly. Eewww." So I said "Oh gosh you've never won a championship. Ewwwww" Anyways, I'm proud to say I'm a Terrapin. I was sitting in the library today and it was so cold so I decided to finally get a Maryland hoodie and when I walked out it was pouring down rain so I needed it. When I got into the store, this guy behind me in line said he'd been to the game. Our Special Teams coverage and defense definitely need some work, but I really like O'Brien. One defensive player I think has potential is D-lineman Andre Monroe. He was looking pretty good. We definitely need some work, but it's a great start. And I personally like the new uniforms.

I know it's unlikely, but has anyone any idea if these uniforms will be going on sale to Terps fans? Guessing not but I'd love to pick one up.

I think you guys are underestimating Danny O'Brien's throwing arm and accuracy. He is really good!

I'm actually a WVU fan. I thought Maryland would fare a little better because of O'Brien's performance last week, but the Mountaineers D is doing well.

Well, it was a close game, but no cigar. I was sure O'brien could do it, but its cool, we will bounce back.

O'Brien had some HORRIBLE decisions today. Cameron had a horrible day...such poor tackling.

I dont like how Tate is being played as the Star backer. The Terps battled back, just not good enough.

Yeah, but that doesnt make him a horrible QB. He has a very accurate arm and a good eye for opportunities. He just had a bad day.
