Classic SNES Super Nintendo Games

18 posts in this topic

Alright guys so I bought a cleaned and tested SNES because I had the urge to play some classic games. I'm probably going to build up a mass collection of Super Nintendo games just for the hell of it. I want to hear which ones you guys enjoyed the most and which ones should be picked up.

This is what I have so far NHL 94-97, Super Mario World 1+2; Kart; All Stars, Super Star wars, Super Godzilla, F Zero, Megan ManX+X2, Barts Nightmare, DK Country 1-3, Zelda, Bubsy 1+2, Biker mice from Mars, Lost Vikings, Super Off Road, Spider Man Maxium Carnage, Xmen mutant apocalypse, TMNT Turtles in Time, Starfox, NBA Hangtime

In the process of picking up Chrono Trigger

Maximum Carnage was such a good game. Countless hours on it but still couldn't beat it.

Just an idea, maybe throw in some fighters? Street Fighter, or Mortal Kombat, etc. Games like that are always fun in a group

Remember if the game doesn't work.... Blow.

Those were the days, blowing the bottom of the game just so we could get it to work.

Lol. Blowing in the machine sometimes worked as well. I remember my PS1 would only work if it was upside down!

I actually skipped the SNES. But it was interesting to look back at my console history and some of my favorite games

TRS-80 (Fraction Fever, Atom)
Atari
Nintendo (Paperboy, Battletoads, Mario Bros, Contra)
Sega Genesis (instead of SNES, came out before) (Madden, Sonic)
Nintendo 64 (Bond Goldeneye, Zelda Orcina of time)
Playstation 1
Playstation 2
Playstation 3

I'd be really interested in knowing if anybody played the TRS-80, and if so, Fraction Fever (talk about obscure).

I've always seen it but never actually played it.

Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past.

I've beaten that game at least 10 times and yet I still have to go back and play it every once in a while.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask (strongly suggest you play OoT first), the original Super Smash Bros., Star Fox 64, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart 64, Mario Partys 1-3 (4 and up are not on N64), Rush 2, Battle Tank, Donkey Kong 64...I'm sure I can think of more, lol.

Time warp!

Super Smash Friends was a great game. Melee still hits my tv screen every so often. As far as SNES goes, I just remembered that I did play a lot of Super Castlevania IV.

Sorry for giving this life but how about Super Metroid. Like someone else said I've beaten this game numerous times but still enjoy it every time like its its my first time playing.
