so are you saying that the teams mentality is the same if they are being led by batch/dixon as it would be if ben was at the helm? Like it or not, teams play different if their starting QB is out for any reason

But why is being held against the Ravens if Roethlisberger is suspended or decides not to play? And why does it count against us if the Steelers are less motivated to win a rivalry game? That's the Steelers problem, not ours.

what does pitt have to be worried about? Over the years they have faired much better in games than baltimore has. Baltimore has only been able to win against 2nd and 3rd string qbs (and even that came down to the wire). And Pitt has owned the ravens over the years, so by your logic, Pitt has more right to talk than any baltimore player.

One thing we can expect is a good game tomorrow, and i think thats all any football fan can ask for

Go Pitt

I've had enough of the Big Ben crap really. You might be interested to know that Ben only played in Baltimore three times. He always seemed to miss the game vs the Ravens when it was being played here. He lost the first contest he played in, which he did not start. So he is only 2-0 in Baltimore when starting. Sounds a little less impressive now doesn't it? Much like your over hyped opening day win record, sounds much less impressive when one looks at the games since 2002 and all but one was played on your home turf. And the one that was away? Oh yeah, vs Cleveland. Boy that was a risk! Give me a break.

The entire point of the earlier post was lost though. The point had been that Pitt had not beaten us when we were at our best but they like to talk so much. Even if one gives you your point about us beating only your back-up QBs, we don't strut around and beat our chests about it.

i stumbled upon it while browsing for ravens news on si.com, how can a man be so delusional and biased?

incredible, the arrogance of some steelers fans

Its sad that the Steelers win off of mistakes. You can revert to all the cliches you like ("A win is a win") but winning of a teams "bad day" isn't anything to be proud of, at least you shouldn't be proud of beating us until you can do so knowing the Ravens did all they could without any carelessness on their parts. The Steelers beating us reminds me of the bully at school who beats up a kid when he is sick and parades around like he accomplished something great, forgetting that the sick person is different when healthy. You have to ask your self Steelers fan: what would a game without any mistakes by the Ravens be like? That has to be scary for any Steelers player and fan. The Steelers have come to expect stupid mistakes by the Ravens. What irks me more is that they chalk our poor judgments and bad coaching (sometimes) up to being an intrinsic part of their talent...
Oh please, mistakes are part of the game and taking advantage of them is also part of the game. I guess we could say had the Steelers not turned the ball over 3 times, they would have won the SB. Trying to play mistake free football is also part of the game. Boy, you guy's have more excuses than China has rice!

that wont work here...only baltimore fans can use that excuse for why they lost...they can never admit that they just got beat fair and square (and that goes for their coaching staff as well)
