Who is your biggest surprise to make the team?

Josh Bynes. In all honesty, we might decide to move on from Tavares Gooden Project in go in a different direction.

All I know is that we will be shocked by at least one player making the team but I think we will be shocked with someone getting cut as well.

I don't know if you'd consider LaQuan Williams to be a surprise since most of us are predicting that he'll make the team, but I'll throw his name out there since he's an undrafted free agent. Same with Pernell McPhee.

If you want someone that no one's predicted, I'll say Kris Wilson. While he hasn't been flashy in preseason, he's got veteran experience at TE that the coaches could see as invaluable to Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta.

I, too, think Tavares Gooden will get cut. I also think Ramon Harewood gets cut or placed on IR.

Hunter Cantwell will make the team only to be cut after we pick up a veteran QB that another team decided to cut also....

Bynes would also be mine but he had a impressive game when it counted. I would be shocked if Phillips got cut but I dont think he should make the 53 man roster either I just know the coachs are high on him. I would rather have Bynes over Phillips solely because we know the roof has been reached with Phillips.

Same as this. I wouldn't be much surprised if we were to move on from Gooden as he hasn't shown much.

I'd be pretty shocked to see a rookie FA defensive back make the roster.

Bynes had 12 TOT, 10 Solo, 2 Sacks, 3 TFL, 2 QB hits in limited action in 4 pre season games.

Gooden had 3 TOT, 3 Solo in 1 Pre season game.

@Franhchise, Wilson will definitely make the team. He is best blocking TE on the team and 8 catches for 101 yards ain't too shabby.

Kindle was mine...mainly because I didn't know how he would be able to perform after falling down and going boom.But man he has impressed me like crazy.Agile,and motorized!
Hope he crushes some quaterbacks this season specially ones who wear #7

You know instead of coming into a thread and questioning my opinion you could actually leave your own. I don't know for sure that Phillips has peaked but from watching him over the years I know hes not going to pan out to be a starter but he could be a serviceable back up. He most times over thinks an has lapses in coverage an gets burned.

Back on topic tho I think Marcus Smith is cut but he would be a huge surprise if he makes the team.

No i am his uncle. Just not sure why everyone is so down on him . He was out all of his rookie year so really this is his 2nd training camp.

Not sure about another name must have messed up somewhere. Again you talk about system and fit you must coach or scout at the pro level. they oz and harbs must feel that he does or they would have cut him loose.

Gorrer could have really helped his case last night with that pick 6 that he could have had. As it stands now im pretty sure hes a long shot even for PS. Foxworth is not being cut the only possible thing for him would be trade bait but I doubt anyone will want him coming off a ACL injury. Foxworth when hes a 100% will be good again.

I really hope we don't waste a roster spot on him, Id send him to the Practice Squad at best. I would like to see Josh Bynes to make the team, I hope Chykie Brown either makes the team or gets a PS spot too.
