Our Footall Team In 0-3

My freshmen football tema is 0-3.

We lost our first game to Pleasant Valley. I didn't play in that a game becaseu of my sprained shoulder ( the same injury Ocho Cinco had, to the same shoulder!)

IN our second game,, to Emmaus, I was back in the rotation, but not necesarily able to go full action yet. I finished the day with one catch for like 20 yards or something.

In our last game we put up 35, but it wasn't enough. we gave up 50 ( Hey coach Ryan, think you could come up to Nazareth and help us out?) IN my first start of the season, however I finished the day with 3 catches for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. My best game to date. Hopefully we beat Parkland this monday....

we lost 46-8. I didn't have any cathes. I did have this one big return . that was it. 0-4 on the season. Central Catholic this week.

We lost again! 31-14. I did have three solo tackles and two catches for about 50 yards. One of them was one handed and I did almost like a bakflip like the one in the thread "amazing catch" No lie, however it wasn;t quites as amazing as his. But seriously, when you get kinda shut down like we did, people started calling that the play of the game. until our running ack busted off this 80 yard tht almost got in the endzone. Oh, I also had one kick return to about the other teams 45, so that was good I guess. man, I hope we bounce back.

I just got home from what was our best game of the season, which is why it is dissapionting that it ended in another loss. I was making my first start on defense ever and was really nervous. Also I was sure that i would get tired becaseu I was starting now on Offense, defense, kickoff, Punt, Punt returner and kick returner.

The game started with the other team driving down the feild and getting a score. However, on the kick return our #83 returned it all the way back for a touchdown (7-7) Then on the next drive I made my biggest play of the game. THe other teams QB dropped back and looked deep. I read his eyes and followed the ball once he threw it. I ran across the field an intersepted it on the sidelin, just barely getting my feet down in bows before falling out.

On our next drive I had one play where it was me going deep. The ball was up and the defender tipped it up. I then tipped it and on my way to the ground I made one last efort and grabbed it. It was maybe a 30 yard gain. Our #12 then rolled out later on the next drive and hit our #3 in the corner of the endzone. ( 14-7)

Then on the other teams next drive, one of our D linemen sacked ther QB and forced a fumble. Our #63 recoverd it and ran it back for a little bit. We then drove down the field. On the drive I got another thirty yard catch where I just made a better efforth than the defender to get to the ball. We then got inside the five and pushed it in on a QB sneak. Missed the Xtra point (20-7)

With under 2:00 left we allowed them to get short passes underneath all the way down the field and once they werre inside the 10 the QB looked outside. I moved outside, and the reciever went back in. Wide open across the middle. TD. (20-14)

after half time e got the ball and began to drive down the field. THen we hit a reverse # 83 was the ballcarier and I swear to you he got tckeled and was down. But eh ref ruled what obviously was not a fumble and fumble and the took that momentum and hit thier reciever a few more times underneath. They then hit him one more time and he broke a tackle. He then went the rest of the way. missed Xtra point (20-20)

On our next drive we got stopped without a score. I did catch a sreen and took it for ten yards. Once they got the ball back they drove it down the feild and capped the drive off with a short TD run. (20-27)

We had less than 2;00 left and all three timouts. We drove down the field, conserving the clock by getting out of bounds. Then on a reverse to #83 we got in the endzone, it was about 30 yards. But a clipping call took it away ( that was bullcrap, but wait, it gets better.) It got to 4th down less than :20 on the 5. Our QB there it to me in the endzone and I was interfered with as it fell incpmplete. Now get this. Instead of it being and automatic first down. the refs called for 4th down to be repeated.

The last play of the game was a fade over the top to me. The ball was snapped I got behind the defender, looked up and saw the ball thrown back as if I had run a curl. I cut back, but the defender was already in better position, I prevented him from intercepting it, but he game was over Final score (20-27)
