It makes sense. His impact this season I doubt would have been significant. Even without him we seem deep with pass rushers if guys step up.

When Reed comes back? Isn't he still on the roster? Or maybe it's to replace him with Gurode?

Also, does anyone know if he can be claimed off the practice squad by another team during the season?

From his suspension. I believe he doesn't count against the active roster while serving his 1 game suspension. Gurode took Reed's spot to keep the team at 53.

Reed is suspended, and doesn't take up a spot on the active roster. So we technically have 52 guys right now.

Yes, anyone on the PS can be picked up by another team.

He would be free to negotiate a contract with any team throughout the entire season.

The signing of Gurode brought us back to 53. So when Reed comes back, we'll have to release a player. That player looks to be McAdoo.

I have seen this guy play at Carolina a couple of years ago, and he is a diamond in the rough! He is crazy quick, and has a good football IQ....this kid is loaded with a ton of potential.

He was explosive off the line for that sack in the Falcons game... and IMO that ain't too bad for a kid who has been a year away from the football and just had a week with a playbook. (he was repeatedly compared to J.Peppers at Carolina, just sayin')

I just hope when he falls to the PS, he doesn't get claimed off waivers, would love to have him as a Raven! Six foot, seven inch pass rushers don't come along everyday! lol

S Mana Silva was released from the Practice Squad. It certainly looks like McAdoo takes his spot after tomorrow.

Physically he is a freak, and if he can pull it together we could have one hellacious D line. I could only imagine him in the rotation and being able to keep him, mcphee, jones, ngata all fresh and at their best wearing o lineman down.
