Who Leaves.... Who Stays?

I know their is alot of curiosity on who the Ravens will cut or who they will keep.... Please give your opinions and post who should stay or go.............

Cuts - Marcus Smith, James Hardy, maybe Brandon Jones, either Davon Drew or Kris Wilson is gone but its sounding like Wilson will be kept...too many unresticted free agent aka undrafted draft picks will be cut, Jason Phillips, possible Tavares Gooden....

not sure who else, I dont have a depth chart in front of me

I'm surprised they didn't cut Lawrence. I see both Allen and Parmalee making the team. You need bodies on special teams. There will be a few surprise cuts before we get down to 53.

Well I think they will cut....
Davon Drew
Brandon Jones
Jalen Parmele
Tavares Gooden
Many of their Unrestricted FAs( Dont kno them from the top of my head)
and Matt Lawrence

Im prob wrong but Im pretty sure this will happen.

I see no reason to keep Parmele around not with Allen Anthony in the fold...as far as Matt Lawrence..he could take over Parmels duties..thats if he's even kept around..or 1 of them could be headed to the PS aka Matt Lawrence

I agree with you with not keeping Parmele and making Allen take his spot.... but I do not agree with you saying that Matt Lawrence should take over Parmele' duties.... Matt Lawrence can hardly play RB. He gets injured every year... I haven seen him play ever dince he has been with the Ravens........

I meant like Parmele doesnt do much anyway so how hard could it be to stand on the sidelines and take over those duties hahaha

Yea he was put on injured reserve. But that doesn't mean we still won't cut him. They put him there to get us under the roster limitations so they can work on an injury settlement (if they plan on cutting him). You just can't cut an injured guy.

I will say Ed (dudes always hurt), Ray (I mean come on, mans old), Boldin (can't run a 9 route), Rice (had that one fumble) and Harbs (can't get us to the playoffs and he's short).

im confused, maybe i missed something wasnt this about who is getting cut?

Ed Reed always injured? Its just recently he's had some neck and hip problems but when he came back he played at a high level,..unless u meant Ed Dickson whcih again he hasnt played enough know how he will hold up, he's had no serious injuries.. Ray is older, but he is also wiser and he's still one of the best MLB in the league. Boldin isnt supposed to blow past anyone, he's a beast, he can take a hit and keep on running down field, hard to bring down, runs great routes, and he can still make big plays 20+ yards, etc

...and Harbs is too short? cant get us to the playoffs? i must be missing something..i didnt read every post so i must be missing something

Must be some new guy hazing thing....since I am not allowed to start a topic. Couple things. Packers fan - but of course I come in peace. Have always liked the Ravens and the hard nosed football they play. Always follow former hawkeyes in the NFL and Marshall Yanda is a good one.

Real reason I am here is to ask for opinions on Ryan Mahaffey. Friend of his Moms. And I just talked to her last night. Ryan is a very good dude and he speaks very highly of Vonta Leach. Says Leach has been quick to help him along every step of the way. From what I have been able to read across the interwebs he is having a good camp for the Ravens and should at least be given a look at the Practice squad.

Just checking for information from some of the fans that know the team and follow it closely. I think it is cool (former Packer) Vonta Leach is doing so well and willing to help a young guy like Ryan.

Unlike Bert Fart and the BS he pulled on my packers and Aaron Rodgers.
