Football Experience

I had an interesting thought. Who here has played football? Who here currently plays? What position do you play? Do you coach? I think this could be a cool thing to talk about.

I play football for Eastern Tech. I play Defensive Line, and Offensive Guard.

Yeah, like actual organized football. Pads, refs, coaches, etc...

Never played football in school.. Basketball/soccer players werent allowed

Played for 7 years, middle school into high school.

Was WR, FS and 3rd string QB (didnt take one single, in game, snap as QB thankfully!)

I played from age 6 through high school. I played linebacker and defensive end, and o line and fullback on offense. I was great in the rec leagues, then more or less size the bench in high school.

WR, FS, and emergency QB in high school. I had the strongest arm, poor accuracy lol

Never played. Even if I had the physical attributes I don't think my mom would have let me lol.

I gotta say, to those who play the position, guard is probably the most fun position to play. Blocking downfield on sweep is probably the greatest feeling ever. Not to mention, trap-blocking unsuspecting DEs is great. I love being a guard.

WR in High School. Should have played QB though. Still beat myself up for that.

Played for 6 years, pop Warner into high school. Mainly played end, but filled in as slot back and tail back as well. I'll toot my own horn and say I was the best special team gunner lol.

HB in High School. Played 2 years. Was too small for Varsity so I switched to Wrestling as a winter sport
