According to PFT we only have 2.3 Million in cap space. Hope we can get Ngata's deal done if we want to sign anyone else

Ngata's deal would surely help, I hope they get that done in the near future. More roster cuts are on the way so that will free up a little more space. OL still could be an area to target... Maybe back-up QB but Taylor has performed well and there's no one better than him on the market... yet.

Yeah, we've been hovering around the $2.8M-$2.3M mark for a few weeks now, depending on which source you believe. I feel the FO is comfortable with who we have and where we, so the signings are done for the time being.

Maybe McKinnie was right that the primary reason he was released by the Vikings was cap room. They have only $370,000 even after releasing him. Now that's tight.

Birk and Mattison will do just fine. One injured, vet center over 30 is enough for me. Haha.

Update: New Cap Numbers Have Been Released and with Ngata's Contract Done the Ravens have $7.1 Million in Cap Room. We have plenty of room to sign Rice, and Joe. Maybe we can get Grubbs too but it's nice to have that much cap room left.

This cap space is amazing. Rice is going to demand a lot of money, hopefully he takes not as much for the betterment of the team. Joe in my mind is still in the becoming an elite qb process he's so up and down. I love him to death and I know he will come through later in the season but I really hope he doesn't believe he deserves more than 5-7 million

I believe Flacco is not a free agent at the end of this season, only Grubbs and R. Rice. Matt Birk may be restricted but he will probably retire. With that said, we do not need to give Flacco a new deal at the end of this season, but I think he is looking for a contract extension based on out performing his rookie contract?
