Have a section where the most ever discussed issues are held or where milestones have been achieved.

Examples: Flacco vs Ryan debate or the two topics that were negged below -100

Just stuff to look back and remember. Just an idea.

There should definitely be a way to access the most +rep posts all time or within the last month or so. If anything it would give people incentive to post things that are not... uh, crappy?

i remember we used to actually havde a rating that added up all of our positve posts or negative.But I think they took it away do to the fact profiles could be found via search engine and it could have affected possible real life reputations like jobs and stuff.

There was and I was crushing the +s. So was Warden I believe. Ofcourse those were the days where the Dump Thread was getting +1s like crazy.

But some people racked up such a hole of negatives that they couldn't save face. I can agree with this. There should've been an amnesty program so nobody would show cumulative negative reps in their profile. Only a zero.

My boss wouldn't have been impressed with my cumulative +1 totals as he would be disappointed with the amount of time I wasted on the forum.

I like the idea of good posts/threads recieving recognition, but it's a bad idea to base the quality on the amount of + or -. People get negged for not following the sheep, so to speak (I got negged just for saying Cary played like crap last week haha), or if they present a good thought in the wrong way.... and people get + for no real reasons at all.

Maybe if a mod felt like doing it, they could pick a thread or some posts each week that they like the most and give us a cookie

I'm not saying it automatically gets put anywhere. Just the ones that are memorable. Only the ones that the mods want to put in the section.

Or perhaps, so its not relegated as just anothr duty for the mods to worry about, put a high post count restriction on a particular thread where we (the higher post count members) can give the recognition for those posts.

As an example, since this is a brilliant example Fly or Pu could quote this into that particular thread and whammo, donesky!

I think it was the Falcons game last year when we lost in the final minutes playing soft D. The Redskins PS game this year had 95 pages.

AFCCG from 3 years ago and I think it got culled out last year when they re-did the Game Day forum. There were several game threads that did.
