Also Kris Wilson did have a good game on Thursday agaisnt Redskins... so did Dickson/Pitta...

Kris Wilson is also a blocking TE, according to the announcers the other night. Not saying that I know much about this Wilson guy, but apparently the coaches have been impressed with him. It's between him and Drew though. I think Wilson has the leg up because Drew is still practice squad eligible.

I believe he has one year left of eligibility for the Practice Squad. I thought they'd give him a shot at the active roster. He's a player the Ravens keep around and he has shown signs of promise. I felt they might finally reward him this season. But Wilson has been making plays during the actually games.

I think the Ravens will keep whoever has proven to be the best blocker. Both guys are pretty good in that department.

I agree with your breakdown on this issue. Parmelee being the only one worth anything but still worthy of a cut.

I don't think either Parmele or Berry are going to make the roster this year.... my bet is Parmele gets cut in the next round of cuts and Berry gets cut also but is offered a practice squad roster spot...

Drew will get cut. He's done absolutely nothing since we drafted him. Has he ever seen action, at all, in a regular season game? Time to move on. Dickson/Pitta/Wilson will suffice at TE.

RB will be Rice/Williams/Allen. Parmele's in a similar boat as Drew. Hasn't done neough to warrant keeping, and Parmele isn't PS eligible, so he's in worse shape than Drew. Matt Lawrence? Cut.

I can see Allen and Williams splitting a lot of the reps, especially if Allen continues to impress in the final preseason game. I don't think Parmele has shown enough to merit another roster spot as we have better runners and plenty of contributors on ST. Berry's a long shot to make the roster but I'd keep him over Parmele. Hopefully he'll make the practice squad. I haven't heard the names of Matt Lawrence or Curtis Steele for a while so I'm assuming they're pretty much out of the race to make the final roster.

The reason I didn't put Dickson as a clear starter is because I believe that they will be rotated often, especially early in the year, as they bring different things to the table. Plus, we often come out in multiple TE sets so I believe that we'll see a lot of them on the field together. Wilson is a good blocker so Drew and any other TEs we've picked up won't make it IMO.

I think Steele was cut at the beginning of camp to make room for an OT. Are we even sure Lawrence is still on the team? Lol, I never hear anything about him. Is he still dealing with his injury from last year?

If he can fix his fumbling problem which supposedly he has had in camp I agree. The only time we were able to run on the Steelers pretty much at will was in 2008 with Lorenzo Neal blocking for McClain.

I keep hearing people throw around Steele's name. He was cut the same day that Mason/Heap/Gregg were. Lawrence on the other hand is still around. Battling with injuries on and off like always. 0% chance he remains on the team.

I honestly couldn't tell you if he is still on the team. If he is I doubt it'll be for much longer.

I know he is, but you wouldn't know it watching the preseason games and reading the training camp reports.

so he is cut? why do ppl think he's on the team..haha, I havent heard or seen of him either, so he must be gone

I've seen Allen, Parmele, and I think Matt Lawrence so far..no Steele
